Used to love this place. It's just different now. Had some tamales with some enchiladas and beans and to be completely frank it's just lacking in flavor compared to how it was. the tamal was okay, really small for being about $4 a piece.

Rolled in, wheelchair entrance in the back. The floor and tables were clean and It was empty at 1pm for lunch. My server was nice and let me choose a table. I read the menu beforehand and wanted to try the PARRILLADA. I had a specific preparation planned that I wrote down and they said Yes they would do. My order instructions and add-ons turned out great but I didn't get some items asked for, on the salad or like only four shrimp in the mix but it was still good the way I wanted cooked and served. (I did finish my meal, and cleared the table since the place was empty ?.) ..... For the lack of proteins on the plate, and the price. This might be a "One and Done". I might come back and try some simple menu items because I enjoy a quick quiet lunch and I guess I'll pay for it. Will update if I go back ?.Parking: Only one wheelchair parking spot. The spot is not very practical or flat for those who are actually disabled. Dangerous for some!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking hazardous, bathroom tight.

We’ve been here twice passing thru on the way to Charlotte from Wilmington. The toastadas de Camaron are *incredible*. I am a huge fan of Mexican food and this place is at the very top of the best I’ve been to!

Portion appear to have gotten smaller. I used to highly recommend this restaurant but it appears that they are cutting back on portions like everyone else.Parking: Parking was limited

We were stopping in the area for gas on our way to the beach and happened upon this gem! Very crowded but fast and friendly service and the food was fantastic!!! Will definitely stop here anytime we’re close!

Based on TA reviews I went here for dinner and was happy I did. A friendly greeting followed by a bowl of corn ships and 2 sauces set the scene. The menu is pretty extensive with all the regular items. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity served. Beers are about a dollar cheaper than your typical other fast food place. I had the steak burrito which was served with rice, lettuce, tomato, guacamole and a tortilla filled with beans. Whilst the steak was not fall-apart-tender, it was great. The portion size was huge and I struggled to eat it all. The place looks clean and tidy and service was fast. Certainly a place I would be happy to revisit and recommend.
