I've lived here for 2 years and avoided this place because of the low rating compared to the options in porters neck and surf City. Being too lazy to drive anywhere farther than a few miles this week, I finally gave this place a try. I just kept telling myself how bad could it be? Turns out...not bad at all. I'm convinced the bad reviews are from people who just don't understand this type of food. I grew up in PA, where this type of Chinese takeout is on literally...
I love this place. It's close to home and the food is amazing. However sometimes I think playing some low level music from your country would be so much fun and give a great vibe.
We live nearby and are fairly new to 28443 and wanted to give China Garden a try. We ordered a nice selection from the menu and the food was ready for our pick up at the time we were told. Quality of the food was great and the price was very reasonable. Given that Hampstead is not located within the confines of San Francisco, this was pretty good for around the corner. We will be back.
