Extremely friendly and helpful service. High quality food. I had the Italian sandwich, a piece of chocolate cake and a root beer and everything was of high quality and very tasty.
I would consider making a dining area more obvious because it was not clear visually or by in invitation whether the 2 chairs and table are there for the environment or you can actually sit there. Definitely consider supporting this establishment.

Had to post a review because we go here frequently for the Italian sub, but today we tried the meatball parm sub. It was amazing. My uncle is in from NY and said it’s better than the ones he gets there. I’d add a photo, but it didn’t last long enough to take a picture. The sauce and the meatballs were excellent. And the kids a huge fans of the cookies. Thanks, Sheila and staff.

Every time I walk in I’m greeted with smiles and by my name. This is the only deli from Jacksonville to Calabash that I enjoy, the only true deli in the area. The food is always outrageous whether you’re stopping in for a quick sandwich, quality Italian ingredients/pastas, or a delicious home cooked meal. They don’t spare any expense with their ingredients; all boars head meats/condiments and bread flown down from NY. There’s not a deli for 50 miles that holds a candle to this spot. I just wish it was closer to my house

First time here today.
Ordered 2 sandwiches and spaghetti and meatballs. The sandwiches had plenty of meat and cheese, , but the rolls that they were on were like hamburger buns. No chewy bread and had some mold on them. The lettuce was completely brown and slimy. The tomato slices were brown. We threw the sandwiches away immediately. We got there when they opened, so assuming veggies were days old.
The spaghetti and meatballs were good….but we saw a ziplock bag of premade noodles and sauce put on our spaghetti order. We won’t be back. Ever, as locals. On a separate note the young man here today was pleasant.

Hands down the best Italian Hoagie in the area. I stop by whenever I can. It's above average in price but the value is definitely there for amazing food.

I am from the north..new jersey/pa of itialian heritage...and there are basically cans of vegetables here ... perhaps 3 trays of "pastries " that look suspiciously old...plus pasta dishes that looked dilapidated.. so sorry but based on the photos and reviews this is extremely misleading. so sad
Hands down, Best sausage parm I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and get 2.

The establishment has no "motivation" in regards to growing consumer base. They are continuing to feed off the customers that Jimmy had established since opening in the new location in 2013.
The value of any product or service is found by the consumer but when a company makes no effort in promoting their own values it tends to lead to decreasing revenue.
$18 for a sub that is relying on Boarshead meat to sell it is not going to age well with the developmental growth of the area. This establishment has the ability to outshine many chains that will come but again, the owners lack "motivation" to to attract younger consumers or families.
I wish them the best of luck in the coming future, it is hard out there for small businesses.
A low key Italian deli hiding delicious food. The sandwiches are loaded with tasty meat and toppings. My long islander friend said they have the best version of his breakfast sandwich. Bacon egg cheese salt pepper ketchup on a hard roll. Impressive nod from someone who is highly critical of their

We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs family meal last night around 5:15. It was ready for me 20 minutes after I called. There was a TON of food- salad, garlic bread, and spaghetti. It was only $29 and easily fed four of us with plenty leftover. The store was well kept and the employees were very friendly. Can’t wait to come back and try another dish!
