I love this place! The food is delicious and they're so fast!! Last time I went, the service was excellent!! They were attentive and they even turned the heater on for us! Thank you; I appreciate ya'll!!😁🙌

Really impressive dinner this evening! After a very bad experience at another Hampstead Mexican Restaurant, we were so glad to find our new go to spot. Menu was diverse, offering just enough options to reflect that the items are made in house. Food was incredibly flavorful, quality ingredients (steak was tender and well seasoned) and fresh. We enjoyed 2 combo plates and the enchiladas, burrito & steak tamale were standouts. FRESH chips, salsa and queso were a great way to start.

Dessert was a great way to end. Wonderful fried ice cream and cherry cake (the special) was prepared with care.

But by far even surpassing all of that, was the service. I could go on and on about Jonathan and Hugo. The Father and Son team make this restaurant Beyond special and even if the food was bad I would come back and visit just for them.

This place is a gem in Hampstead. I had the shrimp chimichangas, hubs had the chicken. The portions were perfectly sized, and delicious. The staff was friendly, prompt, and attentive. There’s nothing fancy about the place but that’s ok because the food is what we came for. We were not disappointed.

Food was pretty good. Tacos were the best part. Rice wasn’t really flavorful and the beans were 🥴. Server was wonderful. However up-charges were not disclosed until we got the check.

Absolutely worst service I’ve ever experienced. My waiter did not know a SINGLE thing about the menu or restaurant and kept having to walk away to ask simple questions like what cut of steak comes with the steak dish. When my friends glass of wine was served, she was given the wrong kind, THEN once the wine was corrected the glass was DIRTY with lip marks and smears. GROSS. When another person in my party received her food there was a hair in it. When the food was remade and brought back, they put the wrong protein in her burrito. So it had to be remade TWICE for it to be correct. After we got the check, they tried to charge us for everything THEY messed up on and did not give us any apologies for this disgusting service. Once we talked to the “manager” (our waiter didn’t know who the manager was, we had to go inside and find her our self!) she was incredibly rude and accused us of “trying to get stuff for free” even though she allowed our experience to be absolutely terrible. By far the worst and most disgusting “management” I’ve ever experienced. Everything that wasn’t unsanitary or wrong tasted great, it sucks that this place is ran by disgusting and rude people.

It was just a strange experience. When I first walked in, a couple of the servers were nice and greeted me and then they began to get
busy with food runs. Had to sit at the bar to wait for takeout which felt weird because I was not buying anything nor did they offer anything while I waited. Took over 30 minutes just to pick up 2 meals and It was a Tuesday night. The bartender lady stayed busy making drinks as I watched the hispanic server ignore me and continuously watched his phone and cleaned his watch. Never really saw him do anything. I’ll give it 3 stars only because the food was not bad and prices were decent. Rice is definitely not mexican style though. Also, very limited parking for customers

Came here to get take out, ordered an overpriced beer and was told "no" when I asked for chips and salsa while waiting and drinking my beer. Not sure how this place works but definitely different from any Mexican restaurant I've ever been to!

Went to Los Primos for the first time on Saturday July 13, 2024 at @4:30pm
I ordered 15 tacos with rice and beans
Paid $67.53
We were in town visiting family and got us all lunch but the food was dry, rubbery and overcooked so we did not eat all the food and that was that. About two hours later myself, my husband, my sister and her husband, and my 7 year old started getting sick (throwing up) my 1.5 year old who only ate rice and beans was luckily ok.
I called los primos to let them know we had gotten sick and after a few questions about what we had ordered were not concerned about our health and only worried about refunding our money (which I didn't ask for)
The employee that I spoke to was you have to go to a Dr and if they say it was from the food we will refund you.
First off the only ones that were sick were the ones that ate your tacos!
Second I'm not going to go to the hospital/Dr to prove anything! They were concerned about a small refund do you think they would have paid for 5 people's Dr visit.
Seriously
They can keep the money.
Please be carefull!
Eat there at there at your own risk!
I know I wont eat there again!

Very laid back and casual atmosphere. Specials on different drinks and food every day. Great staff. Great prices. Will be back!
