Staff very friendly and accommodating but course conditions very bad. Pretty obvious that course conditions require lots of attention. Greens were very bad, almost unplayable. Price was very reasonable but not worth it.

My experience is the same as always. The greens are horrible. I know the Poiana is bad right now ,but I wish the greens keeper could do a better job a couple months from now to smooth the greens out . That has been my only complaint with this course.

Pros: The restaurant and bar were very impressive. The food was reasonably priced, high quality, and was a great serving size for the price. Pro-shop staff was friendly and courteous. Helped to explain the course and what to expect. The locations of the driving range and cart pickup were conveniently located.Cons: The course was in desperate need of attention. The tee boxes were overgrown to the point that sometimes it was hard to even see the markers. (Pictures attached). The greens were also in rough shape some had complete bald spots that were almost completely mud. Both issues in my opinion were not just do to rain or weather as it had been great weather but appeared more from neglect. Also, the drainage was not very good as there were some puddles on the fairway deep enough to lose a ball and had clearly been there for a while, and absolutely not intended water hazards. while some fairways had the grass-maintained others had grass high enough that it was easy to lose a ball in the fairway. To the point that I found 9 random balls that were in the grass just off the fairway (2-4 inches) just on the front nine.Conclusion: For the price it was fair, I did not feel like I had overpaid. However, had I not gotten a discounted price, I would have been more disappointed. I would return for the food, but not for the course. I feel this is a fair review, and would not recommend it.

Wonderful course people bar and restaurant. Easy parking no issues...no need for membership. Soon as it gets cooler we will play more.

One of the better layouts I have seen but the greens were so terribly bumpy and slow it kinda ruined the whole experience. The coolest part is all the Jordan Spieth memorabilia in the pro shop as his grandpa lives nearby.

If you haven’t played here before, don’t!!! The greens are horrible, the tee boxes are uneven and sandy, and the people that work there are just nasty and unhappy. In particular Kathy. I understand that cart path only means stay on the path but being 5 feet off on a sandy root area (dry) to let other carts go by does not give you the right to name call me to the other people in my group. Try and be more professional!

My dad and boyfriend scheduled a time to play and the lady at the front desk was absolutely so rude. There was 3 women in front of us so they were being proper and waiting so they didn’t hit any of them when hitting from the whites and she peaks out the door and tells them to go. She was absolutely the rudest front desk person i’ve met and i’ve been going with my daddy for years. Not only that their greens are absolutely terrible, and it’s cart path only. They have horrible customer service and horrible presentation! I DO NOT recommend this golf course at all!!
Great experience! Staff was super friendly. The really fun part is spotting the spelling mistake on the “no trespassing” sign.

I feel sorry for the members of this country club.I thought the course would have been in better shape. I get they plugged and top seeded the greens. The tee boxes were like playing from my front yard (I hate yard work) the people were all great except for the gentleman mowing the greens he like pulling the flag so you had no idea he was on a mission and no one would interrupt it. The carts don’t try to go up hill they just wouldn’t go we had to push one. The layout was nice.

Had fun playing golf here. Only drawback was the greens were just aerated and sanded. Were a little rough, difficult day of putting. But still a great course, with very nice staff.

I enjoyed my round today. The attendant sent me off the back 9 since I was a single and I played it in 1 hour. I appreciated that. The course maintenance and green conditions could be better. The bumpy greens will cause putts to behave erratically and go off line but maybe they are working on improving their conditions hopefully. It’s a fun layout and has lots of potential. Thanks for the hospitality.
