Hands-down best pizza place in Hampstead. The s’mores dessert pizza is delicious and twice the size of when you get brixs pizza. atmosphere is nice. They have a outdoor cover eating area the inside eating area with a nice bar and they have a really nice outside area where you can hang and eat there’s a small bar out there and a small stage where they have local performances. only downside is the place can get really busy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oval & Ale in Hampstead is a must-visit! The Pinsa style Roman pizza is *outstanding*: light, crispy oval crust with fresh toppings and that perfect chew. Easily the best pizza in the area. The girl bartending is amazing: friendly, quick, and knows every local NC craft beer on tap. Super relaxed vibe, dog and family friendly, with indoor/outdoor seating and live music some nights. Order via app or in person, grab a seat at the picnic tables, and enjoy. Worth every trip!

Went there yesterday with my 88 year old mom and we loved the food. Great pizza, Caesar salads and a great meatball appetizer. Excellent! Had a small problem with redeeming a gift card, but that was my mom’s fault and the owner was more than nice about the whole thing. I look forward to going there again for some Pinsa Pizza! Rick

My wife and I went here for lunch. food was ok nothing special. There is no service. You look at a menu at the table or on your phone. You order your food at the bar or on your phone. You have to pay and tip before you get your food. Plastic cups and utenslis. This is a takeout restaurant that has tables to sit at. Save some money order Dominos or go to Mc Donalds. Its the same experience.

We eat here on nearly a weekly basis, and we never get sick of it! The Owners, Jaymie and Donna, as well as the management staff are always so friendly and welcoming! There is no pizza like this around, and don’t get me started on the appetizers! We purposely over order so we get to eat at two days in a row! Every time! And the outdoor space is great for families! Coming from us with six kids, you can believe us!
