So much more than sushi!! We went here for late lunch. The sushi was outstanding. I had the hibachi chicken which was OK. It's have it again but nothing to write home about. I had a fantastic roll. That was a culinary delight! My son had 3 different rolls and they were every bit as amazing. Now my hubby... he had the Mongolian beef. It looked so good with its dark rich sauce, finely copied veggies and decent size pieces of beef. It's taste was incredible!!! The beef was tender. The sauce was an attention grabber without being pungent or too weak. The only not so good part was his portion size in comparison with everything else was noticeably smaller. The bar drinks were really good. I'd recommend the melon drink and the mango margaritas, which is to die for! I didn't care for the Mai Tai, though. The waitress was very attentive, friendly, and personable. It was definitely a great culinary experience. I guess i justexpected it to be cheaper given it's in a strip mall and while the atmosphere was Asian influenced, three dining area wasn't of fine dining quality. We will definitely go back again but as a special treat due to cost.

This place is a little hidden gem. Drove by and thought I would try it... WOW!! Best Sushi Ever!! I had the Sexy Girl Roll was wonderful I also had veggie Roll it was great! Edamame off the chain! I failed to see the menu because it was folded just easy to over look the hibachi entrees just to let you know it's a loaded menu. My server Kat was on her Game, she made sure I was happy at all times, I asked for extra ginger and wasabi I never waited for anything so nice to have a great server! The Restaurant is nice and clean, large fish tank is beautiful. There are nice booths, large bar, screened tvs this is a hidden treasure great for family, friends, date night or sit at a fantastic full bar mixed drinks, beer on tap too, wine menu. Complete with large screen TVs for Sports night or day time. Plenty of free parking right up front in shopping center.????? This was my first time here but I'm like Arnold "I'll be back"!!!

Love this place. Our go-to place for hot and sour soup, shrimp tempura udon (their shrimp is always fresh), lo mein, all the sushi rolls, and just a good friendly atmosphere for hearty Asian food and a beer. Chef is on point all the time.. staff is awesome too. Generous servings on their kids menu with delicious food they'll devour as if I don't feed them at home.Kid-friendliness: They have a fish tank which the kids love

Our usual sushi place in Surf City was closed, so we decided to try sushi gem. We will be back! Loved the salmon lemon roll, very different from rolls I have tried before. Staff was friendly and attentive, look forward to try coming back and trying more rolls.

The neighborhood sushi place. Turned on to it by a long time local. Solid Sushi, but if your not a fan, plenty of Asian cooked dishes. I love to sit at the bar, sip on Saki (unfiltered) and wait for my family’s order.

I ordered the beef pho and it was very very bland. No flavor in the broth at all. Very overpriced for the quality you get. I understand this is not a Vietnamese restaurant but if they are going to serve pho that is this bland I would recommend just taking it off the menu. Very bad and do NOT recommend getting the pho if you are a fan of the dish. I also got crab Rangoon and I would gives thoes like 3 stars.... not the best iv ever had but not terrible.
