Another local gem... Debbie's snack bar is one of those places right off the highway that you really should visit instead of going to a chain restaurant.
They've got a solid menu that includes plenty of kid friendly options. The burgers were definitely made into patties by hand from ground beef vs ready made patties... My wife ordered the buffalo chicken which was tender and delicious on a baked potato.
Also, they keep a handful of ice cream flavors on hand if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth.
We didn't get a chance to get breakfast there but looking at the menu I suspect we'll be back to try that next time we are in the area.

The food was delicious. I had a hamburger and fries. This was a call in order. The employee was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable.

Stopped in on the way to West Jefferson on a Friday around 2:00. I had the best bacon cheeseburger and fries here! Service was great and friendly.

This is an old-time, authentic roadside diner. This isn't a theme restaurant designed to appear this way. The parking lot is full of 18 wheelers, pickup trucks driven by farmers, local blue collar workers coming in for lunch, and travelers who are passing through and notice it and exit off of 421 to grab a quick sandwich. The menu far exceeds what you would expect and the food is great and the prices are amazing.

Food is always bèen good. The selection on the daily menu was down the 1. This was the reason i chose eating here burger was good just not what i wanted.
