This is an old-time, authentic roadside diner. This isn't a theme restaurant designed to appear this way. The parking lot is full of 18 wheelers, pickup trucks driven by farmers, local blue collar workers coming in for lunch, and travelers who are passing through and notice it and exit off of 421 to grab a quick sandwich. The menu far exceeds what you would expect and the food is great and the prices are amazing.
Good moderate priced breakfast, meat and vegetable plates, and sandwiches. Meals served on plastic plates with regular silverware. Great out of the way find, very popular with the locals.
They've got a solid menu that includes plenty of kid friendly options. The burgers were definitely made into patties by hand from ground beef vs ready made patties... My wife ordered the buffalo chicken which was tender and delicious on a baked potato.
