I have been here twice and had an excellent experience both times! With a beautiful, large, and covered outdoor patio, there is plenty of seating for groups of all sizes with a view of the beautiful property, including a pond with fountains. The winery is family-owned with an incredible history and wonderfully kind owners, and the landscaping is so beautiful. I can not wait to visit again!

Nice place friendly staff, but $16 glass of wine!
Give me break. Major price gouging.👎

Everyday is a good day to visit Laurel Gray Vineyards. We have been visiting this winery for over 10 years. It is a great escape from the city and fast pace of life. Peaceful and refreshing atmosphere! Outside food is welcome, but they have snacks in the fridge if you don't have time to pack a picnic. It is always worth the drive every time we go! We can be there for an hour - three hours, but it is refreshing to our souls.

Beautiful day at Laurel Gray. Love the wine, location, and staff. A great place to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine and relax.

Unfortunately, the wine is okay, the views are nice. But the service with Carolyn
wow. I don’t have words for how awful she is. We tried twice, 6 months in between visits. Thinking we would give it a second try. Maybe it was an off day for her the first time we visited. Nope. She’s as miserable and unwelcoming as they come. Don’t bother her- she will make you feel like you shouldn’t be there. I even asked her- “oh, were you not expecting guests? Are you actually open?” That’s how she makes you feel as you walk in. No matter who you are, what you look like or how much you spend. Unfortunately, she ruins the entire experience there. If she was just a bit nice, it would have been a better experience. Likely the higher reviews were guests waited on by the other very sweet lady (if you choose to visit- make sure to go right to the much younger blonde woman- not the short grey haired older woman- it will change your entire experience). Funny how both times we asked about the owners, she says they are out of town- but another reviewer commented that Carolyn IS the owner. Who knows. Who cares. We certainly won’t be back and will make sure to let our network of wine lovers know not to waste their time or money there unless they don’t care about service. This review is leaving out something else that happened that would immediately identify us which we prefer not to mention- but she didn’t care about that either. No amount of wine can make her enjoyable. We spent our money at 9 other wineries over the course of our 6 day visit and had all very positive and enjoyable visits. Go to shadow springs, adagio, Raffaldini, Sotrio, Piccione, Castello Barone
 ALL much better atmospheres.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Unique wines made onsite and only available at the vineyard. Bonus delicious vinaigrette dressing also homemade.

One of my favorite vineyards, with my favorite NC red wine: Scarlett Mountain. Love the people there, too.
