I’ve been here so many times and every time it’s always a great experience. The owner and employees are also sooo sweet. Such a relaxing peaceful atmosphere and wine is also fantastic.

We had a wonderful visit here! The wines were absolutely delicious, with a variety of offerings ranging from dry and to sweet. There were some fun collaborations with other nearby wineries and Michelle, our wine host introduced us to wines outside of what we normally would have tried. The venue is gorgeous, the wine is delicious, but the people make it exceptional!

I'm really excited that they offer virtual wine tasting on zoom, and look forward to bringing this concept to our friends that live across the US

What a fabulous experience!! Michelle was so great at suggesting wines and giving our group a thorough overview of all the varietals! There is a great selection of wines to fit any palate. Highly recommend to stop here for your wine trips. The Petit Verdot is delicious!

I recently visited the winery for my birthday with 19 of my closest friends via party bus and we had the time of our lives! I set things up in advance with Chuck who coordinates visits for small and large groups. He actually handles both Shadows Springs (which is my favorite winery in the Yadkin Valley) as well a Windstor Run Cellars, so that made it easy for me because I wanted to include both during my birthday vineyard tour. My friends are still raving about Chuck, the Shadow Springs crew, the winery and the overall experience!

We had SO much fun! One of the things that I loved most is that I put in a last minute ask for wine slushies (they are amazing there) and they were able to pull it off! We loooooved the slushies.

Sorry to make this so long, but I have to add that we needed to have lunch (which I brought with us) and we were able to use the downstairs area to have lunch and do our tastings. When I tell you it was perfect, I mean it! I hadn't been to Shadow Springs in about 2 years, but they still hold the title of being my absolute favorite winery in NC! You just have to visit it for yourself to understand why. Thanks to Chuck and the wonderful women who keep that place running. It's truly my happy place!

This vineyard was a delightful place to visit. Their facility is spacious, attractive, and overlooks a lovely pond. The wines are delicious, and the tasting flight is an excellent value, even including a complimentary glass to take home. I eagerly anticipate another visit.

Stellar Wine Selection.

Have known and loved their wines for many years, I often give bottles as holiday gifts and I never put my name to a bad or so-so wine! I love and gift the most their Dark Shadows & pair it with fine dark chocolate.

Had an absolutely lovely time here last Thursday (11/07)! Got a flight of wine to taste to bring my dad something home for his 63rd birthday and also picked up a sweet strawberry wine for my step mom. The reds were amazing but the strawberry is exceptional. The woman helping me said it was made with real strawberries and she wasn't kidding! The taste is amazing! I will definitely return any time I can!

I LOVE this Vineyard! Jamie and Chuck are very nice and welcoming! The staff are very nice and helpful. I love their sweet wines. Especially the Shortcake and Dark Shadow! The views are beautiful ! They have lots of seating inside and outside! It's very peaceful and relaxing! Easy to get to from 421 and I-77. It's very close to Shiloh General Store and near their sister winery - Windsor Runs Cellars. Lots of inside and outside seating as well as parking spots! If you are a large group, call ahead to let them know. Can't wait to come back!

I wanted to update our review as it had been a couple of years since we have been to Shadow Springs.

What we had this time:
Rouge - This was not as good as I remembered. We still cannot distinguish what flavors we taste with this one, and the description does not help.
Shortcake - this is a nice sweet strawberry wine.
Mistelle De Petit Manseng - I loved this one, it was definitely very sweet!
Sparkles - I had been wanting to try this one for a while since it's described a sparkling moscato style wine. It was only okay to me, I was definitely expecting it to be sweeter like a moscato, but I would consider it more like a prosecco.

I definitely prefer their sister winery - Windsor Run, so Shadow Springs gets overlooked by us, but I would still recommend stopping by Shadow Springs if you are in the area as they have a nice wine selection, with a beautiful setting. Plus, they are dog friendly!
