Delightful. Our host/salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful, and let us take our time with the tasting and gladly answered all of our questions. She didn't push us to buy any particular wine but described options for how we could maximize what we expressed a liking for. We will be coming back.
Windsor Run has become a regular winery for us to visit after hiking as it is one of our favorite wineries in North Carolina.We tried another new muscadine wine this weekend that was released in between our last visit - Plum Crazy - which is a red muscadine wine with plum and edible glitter! Family members came into NC from Maryland and we were so excited to share Windsor Run with them. There were 5 of us with the wine tasting. My husband wanted to go down to the distillery and that's when the confusion started.. After paying for the wine tasting we were told we had to pay 15.00 per person to go to the distillery .
