After going to Shadow Springs, we visited Windsor Run Cellars and this was the end to a perfect wine tour of the Yadkin. We had a party bus of 20 and Chuck, the group coordinator for the wineries, allowed our bus to follow him over to Windsor Run. Once there, we had our choice between a wine tasting or spirits tasting. Most of our group chose spirits and it was AMAZING!!

John lead us through our tasting and not only did we LOVE what we had, everyone purchased...

Delightful. Our host/salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful, and let us take our time with the tasting and gladly answered all of our questions. She didn't push us to buy any particular wine but described options for how we could maximize what we expressed a liking for. We will be coming back.

Windsor Run has become a regular winery for us to visit after hiking as it is one of our favorite wineries in North Carolina.We tried another new muscadine wine this weekend that was released in between our last visit - Plum Crazy - which is a red muscadine wine with plum and edible glitter!
