It was OK. Chicken salad pita was good. Potato salad was not what I was expecting, but was fine. My husband’s meal was not so good. Mashed potatoes tasted sour, his hush puppies were extremely greasy. Rice was in a clump. Service was great through. Probably won’t stop again.

I’ve driven past this place 100 times and I’ve never had the opportunity go inside. I finally got the chance today and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s one of these restaurants that feels more like home than a restaurant. The people are extremely kind and the food is great! I had the AJ burger and fried okra. I can’t wait to come back here and try more options!
Been in area a very long time. First I've tried it. Food is Southern/Greek style. Delicious. Comfortable feeling. Kinda cross between Whataburger & Mr. C's on the burgers & sandwiches. But menu has ALOT more to choose from. Dinner type options too. Order at counter, sit & they bring it to you. A couple prices are not updated on board and was charged more. Not mad cuz its still a decent price but REALLY needs to be fixed or could get in trouble. Server was very attentive & nice. Place packed out. Seems a very popular place.

Food is always hot. I don't like the toppings on the sandwiches. The lettuce and tomatoe are not great. The fries are almost always undercooked unless you specify them to be cooked extra crispy. The chicken filet sandwich is HUGE and their chicken salad is always good.

08/07/24 First visit to AJ's was a positive experience. So many items on the menu, it was a bit overwhelming to order at the counter, so we asked the order taker to help us narrow our choices.? My calabash shrimp was excellent - just the right amount of crispiness, not greasy. My husband enjoyed his beef tips, and my mother-in-law liked her cheeseburger. We would definitely eat here again.

I have 6 kids & 6 grand kids this time of year we grill out often. In the pass they all loved Ajs Cole slaw on hotdogs and hamburgers and a couple would eat the cole slaw by itself but the last few times we've gone they will not eat it. We never agree on everything but we all agreed that Ajs Cole slaw has changed. I can not speak on behalf of anything else but the Cole slaw . I cannot speak on the atmosphere as I went through the drive through. I will say the line at the drive through is always fast and short.
