Captain Steve's Family Seafood Restaurant

I ordered my 8 oz sirloin medium-rare, and it came out grey all the way through. No pink at all, as I was the last person to receive my meal. Everyone else was eager to eat. Steak was very tough, with no seasoning, not even salt or pepper, while cooking. Was chewy and bland.
Salad was wonderful with fresh lettuce and ripe tomatoes & cucumbers . Crunchy croutons with amazing ranch dressing.
Baked potato was small and baked so long it was burnt on one side. Showed it to the waitress she asked me if I wanted a new one, but I guess she forgot. She never brought one back to the table. At the end of the meal, she said she had taken the uneaten potato off my bill , but that never happened either.
Will not be back,
There are too many other complaints from our group of 16.
No refills unless asked many times.
Missing items forgot lemons for my tea.
Waiting 15 minutes for steak A1 steak sauce.
5 minutes for missing salad dressing

Even with poor customer service, she was able to still receive an 18% gratuity even though she did not deserve it.
No one other waitress would help her.
Two Male waiters poking each other in their privates, trying to make each other spill full trays of drinks and food, was disgusting to watch multiple times.

The fish was plentiful and delicious. The service was timely and very helpful with our large group. Captain Steve's is easily the best value and quality for your dollar than any restaurant I have experienced in the last ten years.

Harrisburg has a gem. We've been going to Oak Island for forty years. We just returned from a week at Oak Island. Over the years we have tried almost all seafood restaurants there. We've found the time of getting a good fish platter at the coast is almost over but nestled in downtown Harrisburg shines Captain Steve's Family Seafood Restaurant. We continue to get quality food at a good price. Seriously you can get twice the food at half the price. Take advantage of Steve's if you haven't already.

Had a wonderful time at Captain Steve's. Had a small issue with our fish and the server took care of it right away. Captain Steve's converted me. I was never an oyster lover but theirs are pretty good.

So much food so hot perfect and delicious! I had the catfish and shrimp. Seating very slow, service also a bit slow but very accommodating. Party of 12 and no call ahead seating. They have plenty space but not enough staff and should invest in a seating system/app and more servers. I like the fun sea theme. Will definitely return.
