Always get your money’s worth of food. Now the potato salad was horrible ;stick with the fries. Waitress was funny and outgoing. My favorite seafood restaurant so far.

Hearing great things about Captain Steve’s motivated me to try it out. My waitress was very kind. The hush puppies are very good, especially when combined with the honey butter spread. The blooming onion is tasty and appeared to be fried in clean grease the fried. Flounder also was very tasty with a clean fry. The salt and pepper option was good, but I probably would prefer regular for less pepper spice. The collard greens were tasty. This spot is solid.

As far as the food, it has been a hit and a miss with me a few times. I have tried several items.I now know what to avoid. I'm not sure what is wrong with their catfish, but I will not order it again.

We just happen to stop in because we were in the area. It turned out to be a great decision. They put fresh hush puppies on the table with sweet butter for a starter . Our waitress was Pam. She was very knowledgeable and helped us out with picking something great. It took a while for her to get to us, but not too long because it was a Sunday after church. I met the manager. He’s a cool guy. I got the salad with chicken on top and it was great. I also got the fish sandwich and you wouldn’t believe how it looked and how it came. I highly recommend the fish sandwich. Another person had shrimp on their plate and it was perfect. This restaurant had a nice vibe wasn’t too loud. They had a few TVs folks were watching the game. (Go Panthers 🐆) the restrooms were clean. The first stall behind the door has a sink in it, and the other stalls have just toilets. The restaurant was nicely decorated. A nice ocean vibe . The restaurant was set at a good temperature finally a place that wasn’t too cold or too hot. They have plenty of free parking . discounts are as follows. They have a senior citizen discount at like 10 percent and a military discount I think was 20%
They have crayons and a coloring paper for the kids, and also have a kids menu. I’d call that a kid friendly restaurant.

Can to this location for my birthday because Fort Mill was closed on Wednesday, this was our first time here and the food Jumbo shrimp was great the potato salad was not good, asked for something else but the choices weren't the best. Would not recommend this location, drive to Fort Mill if you want good food.

In charlotte for business... this is definitely a hidden jewel. The food taste great . I ordered the captain's platter.. comes with fish jumbo shrimp scallops oysters a crab cake 1 side and hush puppies... my only issue was the bottom of the plate was layered with hush puppies to give a fuller effect to the plate.. about 6 jumbo shrimp 3 oysters ,3 to 4 scallops and so many popcorn shrimp.. I wish the seafood was rationed out better.

Food great and service was beyond upmost as they quickly responded to each table, military discount was 20% . Food came in abundance but them collard greens were just ❤️ 💖 . I forgot to take the pic before I ate them, as this was my 1st time going here.

Highly disappointed. Last time, the meal was great. This time, terrible. Ordered a ribeye medium well- it came out rare. The waitress didn’t return to the table until 12-15 minutes later, she said she would take the steak and “put it in the oven” to cook it longer. She brought it back 5-6 minutes later and it tasted terrible. The next time we seen her was when she brought the checks. Really upsetting because this was my favorite place to get a steak, but when you pay $27 for a ribeye, and it’s not right, the last thing you want to do is spit it out and literally not be able to eat your supper. Then not have it made right. Won’t be coming back.
