Was excited to find a new Japanese place closer to home other than Carolina Mall’s Sogo.
Walking in the place felt sticky and dirty, the young lady at the counter was not overly friendly and answered incoming orders on speaker phone which was really really loud. We felt like they don’t really want people to eat in the restaurant. The food was average at best but probably a 3 out of 10.
Unfortunately I don’t see any reason to eat here again. Dang wanted this to be decent.

Ordered sesame chicken and the meat had hard dry edges on it like it was old or dated. Called back to ask why that was and was told it gets like that when it's fried🤦

Dirty- ordered two steaks meals one teriyaki one hibachi and crab Rangoon totaling nearly 30 dollars - steak was so tough rice was old and veggies were extremely hard the crab Rangoon came as an order of four and were extremely small costing nearly 4 dollars - the cooks were wiping their faces and not wearing gloves - this location used to be alright but I’d never recommend and never go back - wholly underwhelming - do not eat here

Eating here was just okay , probably wouldn’t come back. The price was decent for hibachi food, I ordered steak & shrimp but I was given chicken and shrimp. I really had the craving for the steak but by the time I went home I just didn’t want to go all the way back. That’s why it’s so important to look at your food before you leave out and not assume your order is right. The food was bland with not much seasoning, lo mein noodles were stuck together dry. I just wasn’t satisfied.

update 4-1-2025 cashier was more worried about her phone then taking my order and flung my change in my hand when I went back to get extra shrimp sauce for my meals. she was irritated by something on her phone and took it out on multiple customers it wasn't just me. I work in food service and this is unacceptable! I don't ever pull my phone out when I am on the floor much less directly when a customer is ordering their food. I came back BC the food was good and was somewhat low cost. probably not coming back now.
