Dickie Do’s BBQ and Meats catered smoked ham and turkey for the teachers and staff Friendsgiving at Alamance Community School this week and boy was it a HIT with everyone. Absolutely delicious with that signature flavor. Reasonably priced with great customer service. Highly recommended!!

I've been a regular for about a year now and can't get enough! Great customer service! The coffee is amazing, and I enjoy any events I'm able to make it to. The coffee shop menu changes with the season, so there's always something new to try. They even have kid friendly options, so your kiddos dont feel left out. The breakfast biscuits are seriously the best around. I could eat a dozen one sitting if I'd let myself. Lots of cool gift shop finds if you enjoy supporting small businesses. The grab and go is great if you want to take a little something home or for a quick meal at work. If they have broccoli and cheese soup, get it before its gone, trust me. Haven't tried the meats on Saturday, but they smell wonderful when I pop in. The bbq sandwiches are fantastic. If you're in the area, stop by and enjoy this little local gem!

Dickie Do's catered the meal for the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding. We do not live in Burlington and took some recommendations from the bride's family and tried three places. We tasted food at each one and chose Dickie Do's based on the food. Jennifer was very helpful and we were very pleased with the service during the entire 'contracting' phase. It was very clear to us what the services and options were. We chose to have them set up, serve and cleanup / pack leftovers. And we also had them provide a higher grade of plates and utensils.

Everything was as described and the crew of four did a wonderful job. They were in the background while we did some speeches and were quiet and courteous throughout. They cleaned the serving area and even sanitized the tables and counters in the prep area.

We chose the pulled pork, beef brisket, mac-n-cheese, green beans, slaw, banana pudding and rolls. Delicious! We felt the estimate was just about right. We did not run out of anything and had a reasonable amount of leftovers to take home.

If was doing this over again in Burlington, I would have no concerns whatsoever about choosing Dickie Do's again.

P.S. - We did not include their collard greens on the menu because they aren't something everyone tends to enjoy but I must say they are THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD and I grew up in Georgia where they are a delicacy!

my family annually gets a large bbq and bbg chicken order from dickie do's and this year was no different--we purchase it with all
the accompanying usual items--this year it was again great and
my family loved everything that came in the order--i am partial
to the bbq chicken-baked beans and read slaw--they are great

One of our long time employees was retiring and we wanted to have lunch catered in to surprise her. But I was the one that got the surprise. I filled out the online quote to have lunch catered in. No one answered back so I had to call to get a quote sent over so that I could book the catered lunch. I finally got them to send me an invoice so that I could pay to book the catering. Mind you, no one answers the catering phone and it it hit or miss to get someone to answer the coffee shop/store/restaurant. So I pay the invoice. The day of the catering event, I don't hear anything. They were supposed to arrive with the food at 11:45. I tried calling several times and finally around noon someone answered the coffee shop phone and tells me the catering people are not there and they were not on the way with the food. I have 30 people waiting to be feed. I had invited her family who were all standing in my office witnessing my total embarrassment. I was horrified! We had shut down the plant, invited outside guest for lunch and I had no food!

How in the world do you forget to prepare food for 30 people is beyond me. Then they have the nerve to ask me if they can bring the food the next day. I will never ever go to their restaurant again, I will never use their "catering" service and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Great BBQ joint, they're only open on specific prearranged times. This was a brisket based cheesesteak sandwich event.The food and people were great as always!!

This is the way if you’re talking brisket. What a delicious place!!! The meat was tender and juicy. Quite high quality. Also the sides are quite good. I had a cole slaw and baked beans.

Stopped and had the Orange Spice Mocha. It was amazing!! Katie was super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was comfortable. Highly recommend! Great coffee!

As a former employee, what an awesome family to work for! Fun atmosphere! Amazing pastries, BBQ, Ice Cream and coffee! So many options oh and don’t forget the shopping! Highly recommend. Please help support and shop local.

If I could give 100 stars I would. We are from out of town and I needed to feed over 150 people in a crunch. Matt went above and beyond to help me. Everyone absolutely LOVED the food so much that we hired Dickie Do's again for another meal a couple days later. The food and customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!! Thank you Matt and company for everything!!!
