After reading the reviews, I was excited to try this “gem”. However, I was very disappointed when the food came.Left over lipstick was visible on water glass, indicating poor cleanliness.Poor cut of meat - more marbled than usual for ribeye on the outer layer of the cut.Thin center causing over cook in the area, making it dry. Asked for an enhancer due to the bland dryness, was told they don’t serve steak sauce. I can certainly respect that and whole heartedly agree if the meat is prepared properly. Steaks shouldn’t need any enhancement as long as the steak itself is prepared in a way that the natural flavors come to light and not dried out. However, it requires a select cut of meat, adequate seasoning and cooked properly.Background music was extremely loud and pulled from the ambience I believe they were going for. The song selection constantly changed, making it a distracting environment.Potato’s were phenomenal. Not over seasoned and cooked to perfection.Price was very fair for the meal provided, but I won’t returning. I’d rather go to Outback for the price. Better quality of food and service… and that’s not saying much.

This was my second time dining in. I was very surprised at the menu and the prices so I was not expecting much. I was blown away and what was served. Had to speak to Chef Freddy. Heard his story and passion for providing exceptional food without over charging. He wants people to be able to afford to come back again and again. I love the food and now it’s a must go place anytime I am in town.You should definitely check this place out.

My family and I stopped in this cute little place to eat some lunch and glad we did! The food was excellent! I got the fancy ham and cheese with fries and woah they do not hold back on the portions! The two others in my group got the burger and a salad they were very pleased with their choice! Oh yeah, the ranch is homemade ?! We also got the warm crab dip appetizer which was amazing as well!Not only was the food great, the service was exceptional!If you are ever in Henderson you definitely need to check this place out! You won't be disappointed!

My first visit here....I can't believe finally a Henderson restaurant ..not junk fast food, not Mexican ,not fried Southern food ....something good, healthy & refreshing.I had lunch ...chose the seared chicken breast, risotto & vegetable entree.Pretty good not guilt fried , starchy , salty food.I only hope they continue to bring a fresh healthy & varied menu....I have to usually eat in Raleigh to get something refreshing & on a healthier side.Great atmosphere ....more of an adult environment I love it .I think I will frequent Bistro 130 more often . Looking forward to more good stuff on the menu. .....personally a fan from my first visit.Thank you for a good experience. ..& regular food

My daughter and son-in-law and myself tried this restaurant without a reservation, and were pleasantly surprised at how good the service was, and the food was prepared individually for each of us. It felt like a fine dining experience, even though the price of the meals was very reasonable. We ordered mimosas And they had run out of orange juice but sent someone to the marketTo pick up some fresh orange juice and apologize for the wait. The mimosas were perfect. The breakfast pasta was delicious as was the eggs Benedict and the crock monsieur sandwich. We will be returning again soon.

The food was top notch, The steak was cooked exactly how we wanted the Spanish frittata was delicious and enough for three people. The atmosphere was the best we have seen in Henderson. I’m from the city and so far this place make me feel like home. I definitely recommend and it also accomdated big parties, private parties. Had brunch today and going again later for some wine and music.

That happened as a late lunch in Henderson, NC unfolded to my friend Bruce and me.After visiting an outdoor store, Bruce suggested lunch at Bistro 130 on Montgomery Street. When we walked in, the counter with freshly prepared dazzling desserts caught my eye, which then roved to the clean, linen-clad tables and comfortable booths, one of which we chose.Bruce ordered a Cuban and I ordered a Hoagie Bistro and we both got clam chowder from a choice if soup, salad or French fries.Bistro 130 could easily be off New York's Central Park, but no, it's in Henderson! The sandwiches were deli delectable and the soup magnificent. The lobster bisque I took home was even better.Our attentive and beautiful server, Cierra, made our time there one of dining as opposed to just eating. Owner/Chef Freddy Merizalde and his wife Lina have created a perfect culinary combination of delightful foods, a warm and inviting ambient atmosphere, and premier service.My wife and I plan to go soon to enjoy dinner at Bistro 130 with friends. Food is amazing!! We've visited Bistro 130 3 times already and have been pleased every time. We've tried the steak salad, pan seared red snapper with risotto and asparagus, prime rib, steak and 3 different kinds of cheesecake. Everything we've tried has been phenomenal! Henderson has needed something like this with wonderful food! Cierra was exceptionally nice and efficient at the bar, wonderful personality also. Other staff members are super nice and welcoming as well. 10/10 I highly recommend! We will be back!!
