Nice restaurant, good service but the food was a little bland. The rice tasted like from a box or something, the cocktail was really sweet. It’s too bad too the service was fantastic.

Totally astonished how wonderful this place is.

Not from around here but spontaneously we wanted Mexican food for dinner. Damn good food, seriously. The dining room was totally what could be expected. The service was, IMHO, beyond phenomenal.

It is better than our favorite Mexican restaurant back home.

My husband brought us here to celebrate my birthday! The servers were great and we were taken care of. We moved so fast with our little one but they placed a birthday treat in a to go box. So nice and unexpected. The food was great and so was the service. We came during lunch. It wasnt a lot of people there when we went but as we were leaving others were arriving. Would come again.

I've been going here for over two decades. Their salsa is my favorite ever to use with chips. The food is delicious. Order the El Rio Burrito. Thank me later. Whenever I come back through town I have to have a El Rio Burrito ❤️.

If you're a fan of Guacamole, order the fresh Guac with chips. You get amazing Guac served in a stone bowl that weighs as much as a bowling ball.

The fajitas come out sizzling. Their Mexican rice is amazing.

It's my favorite Mexican restaurant ever and I lived in LA for a while.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to get Mexican food from! They have great prices for the quality of food. The atmosphere is very nice with outdoor seating and a big bar! They have the best customer service and staff! I highly recommend giving it a try.

I will give 5 stars but be aware...portion sizes are probably the smallest compared to price. 2 tortillas for fajitas? In 20 years of ordering all over the country since I travel 10 months out of the year, I have never had a restaurant give less than 3 which is usually perfect for me. Any more and I usually don't use them.

I'd say the bag of chips with the to go queso is half what 90% of restaurants serve...not complaining necessarily cause I still didn't use them all since I put it on my food but want people to be aware.

Food was really good so 5 stars but want people to be aware of what they are getting since some things are more important to some people. Over $30 for a single order of fajitas and chori queso.

The best Mexican restaurant in Henderson hands down, I've eaten here numerous times before the fire and since the fire I have darn near tried the entire menu over the years and everything is great ...I gave a 4 for atmosphere because at times it's a little to noisy other than that you can't go wrong eating here and you dang sure won't be disappointed

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, and we have quite a few to choose from. The food is excellent and atmosphere are always inviting. We know and chat with the staff often and they are very welcoming. The outdoor seating is nice when the weather isn't too hot.

I don’t usually do reviews but I have to express my upmost disappointment when it comes to the customer service I received at this facility today ,specifically the one at 1052 ruin creek road Henderson NC. I am a returning customer and I happened to be out with my 2 year old daughter who suddenly wanted to pee. I stoped by shell gas station and it was out of order. Very desperate I stopped by mazaltan and pleaded with the man at the front. My 2 year old was so pressed to the point of crying. The man refused to let us use the bathroom. I offered to buy something so he could please let her use their restroom. He said a soda is $3.00 ; I had to return to the car and got a $5 dollar bill, came back handed it to him and just zoomed to the restroom as my baby had already began peeing on herself. As we were done , we did not receive the soda we paid $5 for. We just left. Sometimes it’s not about the money; a child was in distress and the man was not humane enough to help. It is guaranteed that my family and I will never set foot here. As a business owner myself I understand that your facility is not a public restroom but when a child is involved I believe it’s only right to use one’s conscience. Good luck may that $5 Bill make your business flourish.
