It's a beautiful place but the waitresses was not inviting, she made me feel like I didn't belong in the restaurant I was sitting for 15 minutes before another family came in. She was so into them that she taken there orders first they food came out before she ask me my I take your order so I gave her my order after shortly after waiting a little bit longer is when I told her I would like to take it to go. I am normally a big Tipper and I still gave her five dollars when she deserved 0 for her poor service. This restaurant will not make it long with waitresses like that.

Garlicky for GringosHad a bad run with Mexican food lately... This place definitely caters to diners unfamiliar with real Mexican cuisine. The salsa was stewed tomatoes blended with WAY too much garlic- that's it! No onion, cilantro, or jalepeño. Did two chips worth and tapped out. Some of the worst salsa I can remember; tastes like something you'd get in an MRE. The fajitas Tejanas were "OK", shrimp were nicely cooked (not overdone) but the steak, chicken, and veg were bland and greasy. Guac was pasty and getting dark. The refried beans - yep, too garlicky. The accompanying torts (I asked for corn) were good; traditional in that they were heated on a plancha rather than being nuked. Half a fresh jalapeño sliced and tossed into a small dish was $1.25- ridiculous! Their stellar offering was the margarita- super tasty as it was not cloyingly sweet. Can't see myself going back.

Nicely decorated New Mexican restaurant in town (from what we understand it was just recently reopened). We got there during a rush and our waitress handled our orders spectacularly. Food was yummy, we're definitely going back.

After a long wait for the rebuilding of their original location, they finally were able to reopen yesterday, and I gotta say, it was fantastic! Food was delicious! Service was wonderful! And the inside looks great!

Hungry travels staying close by, went up for dinner and decided on the meat sampler for 1 to share- so much food pork, chicken, sausage, steak, bacon, shrimp, grilled veggies and rice and beans plus Mexican corn! We were so hungry and still didn't finish it all- cool bar lots of choices - husband needs gluten free and no issues -

Fantastic tacos. The most authentic I have had outside of Mexico. NOT a chain. Family owned with great service and extensive menu. We will be back for dinner instead of the snack we had today. Only downside was no outside seating on this beautiful day.

Driving through the state, we decided to stop for some Mexican food. We ordered tacos and we got flavorless meat in tortillas. Cilantro and onions were nonexistent and even when we asked for them, we got pico de gallo. I have been to Mazatlan and this is not the quality of food you would find there. Maybe they have other dishes that are good but we were not impressed to say the least.
