Drove 2hrs and 24 mins to this place and had to wait 2 hours for my food!!! Others had been waiting 3 hours for their food. If you don’t go to the register and ask for your food, you will NOT get it! When I got my food the fries was COLD! They didn’t put any butter on my partners crab legs and when he asked for some they didn’t have any more! Great music, only thing that kept me together!! And it’s black owned so you know what type of service to expect!!! Just terrible for the drive , never again!!!! Didn’t take a picture because it was worth it

Drove 2 hours &’ 43 minutes to try this place due to seeing it on social media. Was very excited to try it. Ordered $42 worth of food (chicken wing dinner &’ shrimp and fish, and a side of sausage and two drinks) @2:15pm did not receive our food until 3:48pm after going up to the counter and asking multiple times for an update. It was mention after an hour and some change that they were waiting on my chicken dinner plate…. Seen the lobby was full of customers who said they have been waiting since 12:30pm. Did not notice until I paid. Went to get my fountain drink and there was no ice, the pink lemonade poured water &’ the ginger ale tasted like tonic water. The girls bathroom toilet did not flush, trash was piled up out the trash can &’ tables weren’t wiped. People were getting their food before me when they showed up a hour after I did &’ placed their order in house. We were going to dine in but the time we received our food we just ended up leaving because of the drive home. The food was ok.. the fries were the star of the meal. The best part of this experience was listening to the customers about how long they've been waiting for their food. Also idk if they were using the same fryers for everything but someone in my party possibly got a stomach bug from it. I’m very disappointed but do not let my experience stop you from creating your own judgement!

The food was really good. The establishment was clean. However, the music was a little loud. They did turn it down a little which helped. The wait for the food was lengthy however but, well worth it. I got the big boss platter, deep fried corn and gator bite combo with French fries. My parents got the salmon and shrimp combo with broccoli and corn. I am disappointed I couldn’t try the MJ mac and cheese

I saw this place on Facebook as one of the top black owned places in North Carolina. Decided to drive the almost 2 hour drive to try it for myself. On Google it says they open at 11 however upon arriving I found out it was actually 12. No big deal thou I waited cause I got to know what all the hype was about at this point. I will say the wait for the food was lengthy. However, with what I ordered and them just opening it may have caused the delay. I tried the fried corn and it was awesome, the big boss platter and the gator bites. Everything tasted really good. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have the MJ mac and cheese thou. Overall worth the money and drive. Just wished they had a better system to cut on the time

Do NOT waste your time coming out here. They have no respect for customers and you will not when they are open because they do not honor posted days/hours.
I drove over an hour to come try this place. The food was really good, but the service was poor. I waited 10 minutes standing by the register before I was acknowledged or asked if I was ready to place my order. The wait time was unnecessarily long as well. It’s clear they need to hire additional people as the cashier is wearing multiple hats, which caused a delay in placing my order and receiving it. The music was good, but super loud for the small area.The women’s toilet didn’t flush nor did it have soap…
