Waited 10 minutes to check out, did not get my 4% discount after paying cash. Waited 10 minutes for drinks. Fish had oil dripping, took 10 napkins to soak it up.

Walk in see 4 employees sitting in the middle and one was our server. we sit down and the table was dirty dried water rings from cups you could wipe away with your finger, but they all looked the same no one directed us to sit down.

When she came to get our drink order I noticed a live roach on the ground near our table it was walking in circles I had assumed it was dying but when I mentioned it to our server she stepped on it and kicked it under the table next to us.
she puts down our drinks and takes our order i saw a 4.1 star ratting and we pass by it all the time it would be good to try I WAS WRONG.

The food was bad and after reading the poor reviews AFTER I ate there I wish I had read them sooner, My burger looked like someone had sliced off a bit of Grey meatloaf and used a round cookie cutter to shape it no flavor I tasted the onions I tasted the cheese I tasted the bread but I felt the meat and it wasn't good.
My girlfriend got the pork sandwich we also got the cheese pork tots which sad, the tots were fine their pork tasted off to me my girlfriends sandwich was edible she said but she has a stronger stomach then me the presentation was just tots little bit of cheese and a large scoop of questionable pulled pork.

This place is gross avoid

extremely fast service and amazing food. the corn pudding was some of the best we ever had. worth getting off of I-85 and skipping chain restaurants to enjoy this gem.

Brunswick stew and corn pudding had so much sugar added I couldn't eat more than a bite or two. BBQ had too much vinegar. Hush puppies were good. Service and atmosphere were OK.

I've been here a few times before I decided to take my family here travel and back to Virginia and and it was great flavor and food the service won't too bad the only problem we had this time around the food was not served hot it was kind of like warm but the food was great overall and just if the food was served hot and I want so hungry I want to send it back but I enjoyed the food

The food was delicious. Best fried chicken we have had in a while. The sides were great also. The service was excellent, and the food was out in about 10-12 minutes. My parents took me there when I was a kid. Never disappointed. Great memory.

My first visit to this place was pretty good. The BBQ had lots of flavor, the chicken had good flavor, but was a little dry, the slaw was decent and the butter beans were okay. The hush puppies were the star of the show. I'll probably visit the next time I am in the area.

This is a little diamond in the rough place with great people and good food. Recommend the chicken and dumplings which are chunky dumplings in a creamy sauce with lots of chicken. Can't wait to try the fish! BBQ was good.

Barbecue not Barbecue pull pork hot mess.I had to send my plate back the green beans was good so I had them for lunch.
