This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in North Carolina. I HAVE to eat here at least once when I fly down to visit my family. The steak, egg, and onion biscuit is my favorite… but the ribeye and onion biscuit comes in at close second. The service is always friendly, and my order comes up quick and warm. Lastly, I truly appreciate their prices. They are beyond reasonable.

I come here every day — They’ll sweep and mop your table right beneath your feet as you’re sitting there, but the food is great and the tea is sweet! Bailyn is the best and remembers everyone’s name. Idk how she does it.

This is really, really not good. Omelette was very, flavorless. Bacon was dry. Biscuits not great, everything was filthy. Bathroom was almost unusable. Do not recommend.

Yesterday, I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on light toast. When I opened the package the toast was burnt I couldn’t believed they served this. Took it back and what they did was take the egg, cheese, and bacon off the burnt bread and put it on light toast. The egg and bacon seemed to be old or cooked earlier in the morning. As a long term customer I could believe the experience, I am truly truly disappointed. They should’ve just made the sandwich fresh with light toast like I initially ordered.

(1.)Went to sunrise biscuit on July 16, 2024 ordered a grilled chicken sandwich awful. Chicken ? over cooked dried out from sitting under heat lamp look like 3 or 4 pieces that was left over earlier in the day put there to make a sandwich. Asked for lettuce ,tomatoes and mayo. No mayo on sandwich lettuce was old brown looking not fresh at all, also tomatoes wasn't fresh. Threw lettuce and tomatoes away, then had to pay extra for sides. Finally threw sandwich away. Horrible ? sandwich(2.) Got my husband bologna burger, couldn't even eat that was burnt 2 thin, thin, slices, of bologna , I thought it was going to be the thick bologna wouldn't have gotten if I knew that's how it was. I could have fixed that at HOME! HE DIDN'T EVEN EAT IT AFTER A COUPLE OF BITES. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. VERY DISSATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE.

We wanted to get a bite to eat as we were heading back to MD. I googled restaurants nearby and saw this one. We saw locals going in and out and decided to give it a try. I ordered cheese eggs, toast and sausage. My sister and granddaughter ordered grits, scrambled eggs and tomatoes. My grandson ordered a waffle and bacon. The food was mediocre and I was trying to see why people were constantly coming and going. I didn't taste any cheese in my eggs, they needed seasoning, it looked like my grandson got half a waffle, but his sister said it looked as if they ran out of batter? Their eggs were tasteless as were the grits. The bacon came in a clump not separated out. The cashier asked if we were eating in and we still got carryout plates! Won't be back and I don't recommend eating here. The tile was cracked where we sat and I almost tripped. I'm glad I looked at the floor AFTER eating. I would have turned around with a quickness and ran. It was smeared with something brown?? I'm not being snarky or mean, but I have never eaten in an establishment like this and won't again.
