Best soulfood spot hands down. We took a detour from our normal route to try this place out after looking at the menu. They did not disappoint! I got to tell my Alabama folks about this place. Absolutely loved it.

Robert and I drove from Newport News Virginia 177 miles to taste the delicious food and visit and dine with the Taste of Soul family ...we were more than pleased ...the owner treated us like royalty... knowing that we have traveled such a distance, she bent over backwards to make certain that we were more than satisfied... this is a must-see must visit must eat establishment you will not be disappointed

Buffet items were FRESH, HOT & DELICIOUS.
Dessert bar was wonderful and the blue lemonade was amazing too. My 1st time, but definitely will NOT be my last (Cousin) Juanita!! 💛 Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10

This is my second time coming through Henderson NC. The first time I got a plate to go. This time me and the wife set too eat. No where I know you can eat buffet for $11. The foot was great and seasoned good. I tried the turkey wings, pork chops, turnips, cabbage, fried corn bread, chicken pintoes bean and all the desserts pineapple coconut cake and honeybun cake. I wish I could stay until Friday she was giving me what on the venue. I would like to let all the people in the area of Henderson NC please check out this restaurant. I live in Charlotte NC and I know you will not fine a meal like that for the prize they charge. I pray that you continue too be a blessing to the city of Henderson NC. I will be back. Thanks for the great services and warm welcome.
