The food was amazing! This is some home cooking. Literally. The only reason why it did not get 5 stars is because the atmosphere and service. Because I came right at opening, the owner was still cooking and putting food out as it was ready. Because of this, I couldn’t get what I wanted and it was a long wait time. They have a neat way of paying. They charge by the weight of your plate. And that fried chicken was amazing!

This restaurant is hands down the best soulfood restaurant in Henderson It is what it is. It's easy to ride by this place and never know the taste ur missing inside. I'm talking great food at a good price(All U Can Eat Buffet-$13 Premade lunch-$6 Burgers etc). This food reminds u of the grandma that knows how to cook. I'm not talking Bojangles, KFC, Taco bell, ect.. where u are hungry 1hrs later. After u eat here,u will be satisfied for half the day (now that's a fact)Give this spot a spoon full and you'll see this ain't no cap

Food- Really good and tastyLocation- it has a "soup kitchen" atmosphere and the table, chairs serving utensils, sauce bottles are all sticky and greasy. Bathrooms are gross. As much as the food is made well, the location really needs some attention.

We actually found this restaurant by accident but oh my goodness! This is a hidden gem and the soul food was delicious. Please note this is not your normal restaurant atmosphere. It's like going to Grandma's house or a big family reunion. And I wouldn't have it any other way!!! See you again soon!
