I was in the area visiting. Excited to get some Chinese, and i waited patiently. I get to my hotel, and start digging in. The food is actually tasty. Within two minutes, I see two roaches crawling; I barfed , and threw everything away. I was so disgusted- I will never eat here again. I was certain the roaches were in the food/bag and not my hotel room, that I had been staying in the past two days. DO NOT EAT THIS SHIT

Village Kitchen is hands down one of the best local Chinese food spots around. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious with a wide variety of meals to choose from, so there’s always something for everyone. They’ve never once gotten my order wrong, which says a lot about how much care they put into their service.
I also really appreciate how they always make sure to include plenty of soy sauce and duck sauce without you even having to ask. Little details like that go a long way. The kitchen staff is polite, fast, and clearly hardworking, and the food comes out consistently great every time.
The girl who works (or used to work) the front counter is especially sweet and welcoming. She actually remembers customers by name, which makes the whole experience feel personal and community based instead of just another takeout stop.
Unfortunately, they still aren’t open for dine in since COVID, but even with that, the quality of food and service hasn’t dropped a bit. Whether it’s takeout or delivery, Village Kitchen continues to be reliable, friendly, and consistently excellent. Definitely a go to spot if you want great Chinese food done right.

First time trying this place and I must say everything was delicious. The chicken wings was perfect and made crispy just like I asked and the chicken and broccoli was delicious as well I’ll definitely will be back.

This is by far the best place for food I have found since I have moved to Henderson Nc. The girl working the front register taken orders was very nice girl and very helpful made sure I had everything I needed. The prices are good also. I have just found my new place to eat and the girl working the front give her a raise she is great.

I had stopped eating here because the food wasn't tasting the same. It had been a long time, so I decided to try eating here again . I ordered chicken wings with pork fried rice something simple. OMG I got home open the plate and knew that the chicken was old and had been double fried, rice was dry and a bone, no moisture at all . I'm done

Good here is good but offers delivery but never has driver. My mom called tonight and was told yes delivery but the woman said before the total was given that no delivery available

I ordered Hunan Chicken, but it was very dry because there was no sauce. I took it back to show them, and the cashier asked if I wanted extra sauce. I opened the container so she could see the dry meat. She calls to the kitchen staff that there was no sauce on the chicken and someone asked that sauce be made. Within minutes, I received a container with brown liquid. When I got back home, I tasted the sauce, and it was bland. I’m done with this place. I guess I’ll just have to go to Raleigh or Virginia to get a decent Chinese meal. Terrible customer service. They were very nonchalant and displayed the personality of a zit!

We've ordered an item from them before and upon arriving at home we assumed they forgot to add it to the bag but they closed so we left it alone, ordered it again this week it's still not In the bag then the nice cashier says they don't sell that even though it's on the menu and we were charged for it each time, she went to find a way to get it for us by getting it next door yet the cooks yelled at her and wanted us to leave with no refund, luckily she informed them it was an online order so they proceed to yell at her and tell her to hurry up I feel we still overpaid for what we received but she tried her best.
We will not be coming here again. The only person who is helpful is the cashier.
