The leadership at the Henderson store is horrible. The lady who runs this store is awful she has no control over her store her employees are all drug users on the clock the store is infested with rats and roaches I'm afraid to catch something the food is always old and moldy tasting this place needs to be closed permanently ASAP

It was a holiday travel morning with a lot of folks in and out. They were staffed for it and did a great job.
Food was great. Atmosphere felt very uncomfortable though as the cook was on the phone talking about wanting to punch the dude he was talking to and asking him if he’s ever been punched on the side of his head before?? Also was telling him to stop calling him and blah blah blah. Look, I get sometimes outside life can affect work. It happens to all of us. But at least be professional and handle it outside or somewhere private and not in front of customers.

I was awake super early this morning and not ready for driving in the dark. Open 24 hours, Waffle House was a beacon for me as I headed in to wait out the last hour or so before sunrise.
For my first half hour, I was the only customer in here. A hashbrown bowl with ham was prepared to order and with it, coffee. Assembled quickly and set down, the staff then disappeared out back for a smoke. Peaceful and quiet but I wasn't able to get that second cup of coffee until they returned, stinking of cigarettes.
A few more customers came and went for take out orders. Polite, pleasant, efficient, a great breakfast, and a good way to wait out an hour until the sun came up.
