Lakeside Mini Golf and MadFreeze

We went this Sunday for putt putt.. as you can imagine a 5 year old is excited through the roof. He gets to the front where we pay and he excitingly hits the tiny bell up front as she was walking out the office. The lady running the register proceeds to tell him you only have one chance to hit bell.. he didn’t hear her so he hits it again out of fun. There is no harm in this. He is a child, I would not let him mess up a $5 bell. She proceeds to tell him “that it is rude to ring a bell when someone is standing in front of you and that she wasn’t going to allow him to play putt putt if he does not listen”. A 5 YEAR OLD. Let me add she scolded him for a solid 2-3 minutes. At first when she went on her nasty rant .. I thought it was almost a joke until she had one more sentence to say before I was going to hurt her feelings after she threatened him. He thought he was in trouble for something that was innocent. Your employee had NO business scolding my child or threating him. The only reason I proceeded to play was because we had a family of 10 and I was not going to ruin it for anyone else. AS SHE RUINED IT FOR US. Disappointed isn’t even the word. I have never had someone working customer service talk to my child that way, EVER. Also let me add the course itself isn’t kept up.. many places have ripped up carpet that you have to hit the ball over. She’s going to threaten a child that isn’t hers to the wrong parent and there goes your business.

Gorgeous and unique mini golf course!

Call ahead before you plan to go. We planned all day to play after dinner and while the sign was showing open… and hours indicated they were too… no one around and not answering the phone.

Very nice, well maintained mini golf course. Beautiful landscaping with flowers, aromatic magnolias trees, and clean water features. Enjoy a refresher while you play. Highly recommend for a fun activity.

Lake Gaston Mini Golf is so much fun for the whole family! Beautiful foliage, unique course design, and 9 hole or 18 hole play options make this course interesting and fun for all ages. Snow cones at the end of the course are the cherry on top! Highly recommend!

Nice place and you have the option of 9 or 18 holes. We’ve been twice on Sundays and had the whole course to ourselves both times. Sno balls are good. We’ll be back!

Had a great visit a few weeks ago and can’t wait to go back again.
We went on a Tuesday right at 11am, had the place to ourselves. Our 3 year old gave up half way through but at that price we didn’t mind and just walked through checking out the course.
One negative- the bathrooms had bees ? so go before you leave the house.

Kids had so much fun and enjoyed the sno-balls afterwards ❤️ enjoyed the trees and shade as we played the course.

Went to the Saturday Flea Market. It was everything you would expect from a flea market.

18 holes. Pretty good course.
