We have been to 252 several times before, however very disappointed in the dining experience at 252 today. The "grilled" chicken was evidently boiled .... Not grilled! The "crispy' chicken on the Cobb salad was cold and the lettuce was wilted. Service was extremely slow (waited 30 minutes for waitress to take our order) and more than once the waitress was overheard stating something like " not going to do this to me". ....very unprofessional! will not be returning

252 Grill is a welcoming place with great food and attentive, friendly, and courteous staff. They offer a variety of oysters prepared in different ways, including wonderful James River raw oysters shucked at the raw bar. The food is well-prepared and delicious, with a focus on fresh seafood like shrimp, crab legs, and fried flounder, plus burgers and sandwiches like the delicious Zinger burger. The Hungry Man dinner and homemade desserts like chocolate dipped Oreos are amazing. Portions are large, the pricing is amazing, and the experience is positive and worth returning for.
