Received sad food portions. 1st time in there I ordered a chicken sub with fries. The sub had 1 piece of torn up chicken and only 2 pieces of shredded chicken on the other side. Kinda disappointed ?. The other meal was cold as well upon arrival.

We had a great lunch. Wife orfered a wrap and she loved it and I got I think it was the Zinger burger and it was delicious especially the sauce and the patty was well seasoned. The price was not bad at all for what you get. Will be returning.

Been there 4-5 times, had no problems until my last visit, Ordered the Taco Salad for $9.99 what a disappointment! Came with 6 or 7 small chips on the side and sat on a bed of lettuce which was not even cut down to a size to fit in your mouth. I can make 200% better at home. Left there hungry and don't see myself going back there again. As a side note the steaks and hamburgers looked good going to the other tables and the waiters have always been good.

Very disappointed with our visit on June 20th 2024, took my momma out for lunch whos in a wheel chair, fought with door to get it open and get her in as several of the employees watched not one person offered to even hold door. We arrive at noon ordered are food and the fried pickles as a appetizer, 25 mins later I walk to register to ask how much longer as my mom had a Dr appointment. Our food arrives, 15 mins later our pickles arrive which we didn't get to eat and had to get a to go box. My first time there not impressed!!
First off we were NOT even greeted and we figured a hour and a half was plenty of time to eat. But thank you for your input.

Husband’s hand-cut local ribeye was delicious and cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly . So much more than the usual steak. The James River raw oysters were wonderful; shucked right in front of me at the raw bar, as it should be. We ordered the Hungry Man dinner to go, and it’s just as delicious as the rest. Their Cole slaw is great; not too vinegar-y, not too mayonnaise-y. The desserts were chocolate dipped Oreos and Lemon cupcakes with berry filling. They change the desserts up regularly, as they’re homemade. Regan was our server; she’s personable, adorable and doesn’t mind spending time with question/answers. Altogether an amazing culinary experience; quite surprising for the area I don’t mind saying…. We look forward to returning next year on our way through.
PS: all that being said, the building itself is large and they’ve secluded an area for raw bar.. great idea to section it off! Take it further making it bigger, and work on aesthetics in main dining room, if money allows. This place has a great thing going. I can’t wait to come back.
PSS: I’ve read through many reviews after leaving ours. Several mention the fried pickles being soggy; that’s fair. One mentioned the wait being too long. Also fair. But when they mentioned the price-point being too expensive, (something I totally forgot to include in this review), I think that’s completely nuts. We had a steak entree with sides, another entree with two sides, a dozen oysters, two IPA beers, a tea, and three desserts…. For $80. Cmon.
