Tried 2 cupcakes and a cheesecake. Wife could not finish the cupcake that she started because she didn't like it, i ate the cheesecake but it's not the best cheesecake and our daughter loved the chocolate cupcake.

I worked w/ Miss Jen @ Carolina Moon Bakery to make a cake for a business function @ Tarheel Fireplace & Grill Shop. I asked for a cake that “represents”. They did such a great job! The chocolate cake was dang skippy delicious (almost had a slight fudgey quality?)and the presentation was awesome. It was like ‘cake’ and ‘art’ had a baby. Love this local business. . Drop dead yummy carrot cake. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect slice of carrot cake and I’ve found it! They also sell fresh pizza and pizza dough. I’m happy my friend suggested this baker.

Sorry to say I didn't like anything I bought.It was later in the day on a Friday.I love sourdough bread so much, we moved hear from San Diego CA., where it was available in all grocery stores, and bakeries.I've tried them all.Here in Edenton, well all the areas, I've bought sourhdough where it's available, which isn't many places.There was only one, it was burnt, so I said "well this was over cooked" the girl helping us said "it's cooked by the inside temperature".It was the only one so I bought it, along with a pumpkin loaf bread.Opend the pumpkin loaf the next day, it was very wet and sticky, when I cut into it, it had slimy stringy things from one slice to the other when pulled apart.I did try a peice before I noticed the shimmy strings, and it was like a sponge, I didn't like the texture or the taste.The sourdough was as hard as a brick, had to cut it with the large bladed side of the bread knife, even turned it on its side to get thru the bottom.It was like cardboard, I tried toasting it, with butter, it didn't make it any better.They don't put dates or prices on anything, so they may make everything every day, because you dont know when it was made, and you have to ask what everything costs, it was about $14 for my 2 breads.Both items went into the trash.People compliment the sweet foods, so maybe they are the good things to choose.
YUM!Wife says it smells like heaven in there.I go in just to get a bottle of water. I sum up all my willpower to just get the bottle of water. But, the chocolate chip cookies are big and delicious.I walk out with a bottle of water and a cookie.

We were in Hereford and spotted this bakery.Yummy! The owner said he and his wife moved from Maryland.We bought a box of goodies. My husband used to work in Hereford but we were glad this new business is in this small town

Well... we my husband and I Love this bakery. A can`t go wrong sweet to the bone joint. Valentines Day Red Velvet cake yummy good to the last bite and tonight a Apple crumb cake w/this special sauce topping...Dang good w/a cup of coffee. Cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon buns make it a destination place you don`t want to miss. Henry House and his lovely bride will take great care of you too.

Hearing of their recent opening, I decided to quickly stop in and check them out. The staff was really nice! I went with a chocolate cupcake and strawberry frosting and it did not disappoint! Five Stars!
