We tried Story's for the first time August 29, 2025, it's a quiet off the main highway restaurant that has that country appeal to it, yet offers a coastal menu featuring many seafoods and land lover meals. I ordered a hamburger steak plate, came with 2 patties of hamburger, gravy, mashed potatoes and fries. My wife ordered fried catfish slaw and fries. All the food was great and the service was even better, They made you feel right at home, didn't rush you to order...
My husband and I had been by here many times after fishing but never stopped. We recently moved here, rode by and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The food and service were both wonderful. We shall return!!
After a considerable absence we decided to try this place after hearing it had gotten much better. What a good decision. Best scallops I've ever had, slaw was great and shrimp were ok as well. My wife got flounder bites and cleaned her plate. We'll be going back soon.
