During the Fall season Highlands is overly busy with lots of visitors. This small shop is so incredibly efficient! The line was out the door, we ordered 4 hot drinks & we're out of there in less than 15 minutes, but the staff was so very kind and friendly. Great coffee too!
Absolutely love this place! Coffee is good, and pastries and food is delicious as well. Coffee can be pricey depending on what you order, but overall, prices are pretty fair. Usually a long line, especially during high tourist seasons, but workers are fast and the line moves along pretty quickly. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they have so many mugs with funny sayings you can purchase inside, which I find amusing. It is a good place to catch up with someone, do work, or even...
The coffee was great but the barista working on Sat, May 3 was not friendly at all. He actually seemed bothered by our being there. After ordering three drinks, I purchased a $30 handwarmer mug from the display. He rang me up and literally put the mug on the counter and walked away. ??? I had to ask for a bag after which he visibly rolled his eyes and then handed it to me without a word. It was a bizarre and disappointing experience.
