Great find off the main drag (downtown) in Highland's. The owners are lovely (married couple in their 80's) and had a sandwich shop back in the day in Highlands. We got the burger and gyro sandwich. Burger was juicy and the gyro meat was tender and plentiful. Worth a stop for sure.

I came by last month with friends. I spoke with the owner and he's very friendly gentleman. The Brunswick stew was excellent. The restaurant was clean and overall all staffs were great. I came from Hayesville and I'll come back. Thanks Don.

I worked at an authentic Greek restaurant in the 80’s and this was the first gyro I have had since then that met my expectations! Delicious! Highly recommend!

It was a cool place but the food wasn't that great, I got the loaded fries, the fries were good but the pork was gross. The crab cake was ok and the shrimp was good. Maybe it was an off day but not my favorite.

The Angus hamburger was cooked to perfection, well-seasoned, and juicy! The gluten-free bun was a welcomed option - no additional fee. French fries were hot and delicious.

Dietary restrictions: GF bun - no upcharge.

Kid-friendliness: Very casual atmosphere. They had buckets of crayons and coloring books for younger guests.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a bit of a lip getting into the restaurant on the door threshold but otherwise it looks accessible.

I had the fried fish platter. The crust was very hard and the fish very very dry. Not good. My friend had a burger. Very poor quality meat. Do not bother going to this restaurant.

Another great lunch at Don Leon’s today. The combo with Brunswick Stew and grilled cheese was excellent. And always enjoy the free hot tea/coffee.
