We had the take away experience and it was insanely good. My brother Mark Dacy has known Suzanne for over a decade and recommended her food. CRAZY GOOD!!!!!!!

We enjoyed their salmon cakes immensely, that they make from their own poached salmon and then into patties. We served it with the aioli, on a bed of greens. It’s like getting a catered meal just for two. Love the people there. Rare breed.
In mid-Feb 2025, Ellie and Dori of The Kitchen prepared delicious lasagna, salad, bread and desserts for a 'thank you' meal delivered to the Highlands (NC) Fire & Rescue Department weekly meeting. The great winter meal was enjoyed by all!

I think the other review about this place is wrong. This is a take-out/catering location. There is no dine in. Everything we have ordered for take out has been delicious! We have ordered meals here for years, and have never been disappointed.
The owner Susie is the best ever. The food is delicious!!!!
Amazing strata for our huge crew. Fed us breakfast all weekend. Can't wait to come back!

The service was average. And not too many people dining which gave me some concern. I had the fish and chips and they were obviously frozen and had been around for awhile in the freezer. They were tough. Tasted like rubber. Awful. Ill never go back

We used them for my husbands’ 75th birthday celebration last June. They did a fabulous job and were fun to work with! Will use them again!You will not be disappointed!
You can't go wrong with any of the food but the chicken pot pie is our family's favorite. Frozen meals make dinner simple and delicious (and homemade!) We love The Kitchen!
