My wife and I stayed two nights at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC and had a fantastic experience. We met the manager, Mary, and she made sure the entire staff went above and beyond to deliver a true 5-star-plus stay. Exceptional service and attention to detail, we’ll definitely be back and are even considering it for a future formal wedding. Highly recommend!

Worst restaurant in town the waiter or manager truly does not know what his job is. It needs to be replaced. I saw a rat jump up underneath the chair where a lady was sitting on the sanitation is terrible. Don’t go to this place ever.

It was my husband's birthday and we were greeted with a happy birthday before they set us down. Our server Oriana was amazing and made us feel special. Lunch was fabulous and as a local we will highly recommend Madison's.

Can't say enough good things about Madison's. Food is fantastic! I got the bolognese 2 nights in a row with a glass of rose. So delicious. We got the cookie and ice cream for dessert--huge serving, but delicious and still thinking about it. We'll go back every year no doubt.

Inexperienced waiters that didn't course the meal. They brought our entrees out before we were even halfway done with our appetizers and didnt even pause. Tried to put it down on the table when there wasn't even room. Such a shame they don't prioritize service, especially for this price!

Had a delicious dinner at Madison’s tonight. Everything was excellent, from making the reservation, being greeted and the delicious meal. Michael, our server, was excellent!! He was kind and professional and checked on us frequently. The restaurant is in the beautiful Old Edwards Inn and has a wonderful atmosphere.

So disappointed, we were unable to get a hotel reservation due to two night minimal. The town was empty, Old Edward’s Inn and Madison’s was empty, this time of season. We stayed downtown, and went to Madison’s for breakfast, hostess was about to seat us and she said if you are not staying at the Old Edwards Inn you can’t eat breakfast, here. My husband and I had breakfast here numerous of times without staying at the Inn. The hostess was not willing to accommodate at all. What a hostile encounter it was. We won’t consider staying or eating here in the future. So disappointed.
