Awesome coffee, ice cream, and conversation! The owner, Jim, was very nice to talk to while I had a scoop of the exhausted parent (espresso/burbon/chocolate chunk) ice cream and the ridge (white choc/caramel/vanilla) latte. The ice cream choices were super unique/interesting and very good! If I lived closer, I would definitely take advantage of the rewards card!

Any good cup must start with well-made black coffee. That’s what I drink. I had the cold brew, black. It was one of the most bitter, burnt tasting coffees I have ever had. My friend and I both threw our coffees away. She had a iced latte. We found our way over the bridge to the Daily Grind. It was worth the drive!
I stopped here twice while I was visiting the area. I had a toffee coffee frappe the first time. It was delicious! The second time, I brought family for my daughter's birthday ice cream. The flavor names were awesome. My husband ordered and liked the Tired Parent. I liked the birthday cake ice cream. It has the good stuff, the blue frosting swirled throughout. Everyone commented on how delicious everything was and how cute the shop was. I totally loved how there was a bathroom and kids area for my girls. Thank you for good memories!

my wife and I love visiting local coffee shops when we travel. we normally frequented the Daily Grind when we visit Topsail, that is until my buddy got hurt there and when I asked for an ice cube for him they wanted to charge me .50, which I felt was absurd. needless to say, we will not being going back to the grind, plus their coffee is OK at best. a quick google search brought us to The Ridge. we were skeptical at first, however those thoughts quickly disappeared - if you're ever in Topsail and looking for high quality coffee, look no further. this place is INSANE. This is definitely our new place when we come to Topsail for our annual visit. added bonus: the barista/owner (Jibb) is a really cool down to earth guy and REALLY nice to talk to, and I'm fairly confident he would gladly give you an ice cube for free.

Visiting the beach for the day, and my daughter was asking for a smoothie. Found this place on yelp and decided to try. Gentleman working that day was friendly and service was great. Smoothies and the chai latte were on point! Would recommend! Support local!!
