I had a very disappointing experience with both the food and service. I ordered what was advertised as “Seasoned Breaded Chicken Tossed in a Sweet Ginger Glaze Over Assorted Veggies,” expecting something closer to General Tso’s or a well-prepared sweet and sour chicken. What I received didn’t match the description or taste. As someone familiar with Chinese and Thai American cuisine, I can confidently say this missed the mark. The food is overpriced for the lack of quality and flavor. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
Ordered on a Saturday afternoon to feed a large family. Make a long story short, there must be a new cook because everything was horrible! No exaggeration. We all threw out our food after 2-3 bites.

My first time eating at Asian Express in Camden Rd. I got the lunch special general taos chicken with friend rice it came with two spring rolls and a drink. I dined in, the service as well as the food was wonderful. I absolutely loved the man that served me today he was very personable and overall just wanted me to sit down and have a great experience. Plus since it was my first time eating there I got 10% off that’s always a win. Thank you ☺️ I will come again.

This is my first time ordering online delivery with Doordash for this restaurant. It's my first time eating here. We decided to try a bit of a variety to see how the food is. We ordered the House Thai Fried Rice, Sesame chicken with white rice, the sweet chili wings and a side of chicken dumplings. There was a little bit of a wait for the order. However, it arrived hot and fresh.
The chicken dumplings are good. The spring rolls are very good, extremely crispy and the filling tastes good.
However, the sweet chili wings didn't taste good. I took a bite and it tasted like old cooking oil and I couldn't eat the one bite. The sauce on them, made the crust soggy. We will try them again with the sauce on the side & order earlier in the day and see if, that makes a difference.
The sesame chicken & rice are very good. The favorite this far is the House Thai Fried Rice. The portion size is good and it tastes good. I would recommend coming here to give them a try. We will order again to try other menu items.

I've always loved dining at Asian Express. They've shown great customer service in the past by promptly fixing an order mistake. My recent DoorDash order was initially promising, with the food arriving hot and smelling delicious. While I appreciated the generous portion of noodles, they absorbed the soup, transforming it into more of a noodle dish. The Pineapple Fried Rice didn't meet my expectations, with only a few small pieces of pineapple, no cashews, and a scarcity of raisins. Despite this, I remain enthusiastic about returning to Asian Express. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and I'll likely order the same dishes again. This experience was a rare disappointment, and I look forward to my next visit, confident that it will be as enjoyable as before.

First Time trying this location and I must say it was horrible. The customer service was great though, but the food was nasty. I usually go to the one on Reilly rd It’s so much better
My wife and I loved this place, but when I tried placing an order @ 6pm, and their phone line was busy, I gave it a few minutes. When I tried @ 630pm and still got a busy signal, I figured it was never a problem to place the order to go while I was there. As I walk in there are 3 people waiting for their food, and I could see the chef cooking. Imagine my surprise then, when even though the hours posted on Google + their door, the lady tells me the phone was off the hook because they close in 3 min.I'm flabbergasted, but walk out immediately. Any business so poorly run, doesn't deserve my money. Simply Thai is up the road, and open til 9pm. Or the Asian express sister location on main seems to ACTUALLY have their proper hours posted and operating.

This place has lost its mind. Long time customer and regular multiple times a month. Just got charged 18$ for a pud Thai. Normally 15.12. I’m being told it’s for the 3 star heat…. Not even 2 weeks since last visit. This will be the last visit 18$ for a single dish, check out your competitors you are charging more and it’s nothing better ? Simply better Thai will be the new spot. It’s not even a mile away.
Ordered online through grubhub at 6:12 pm, did not receive food until 8 pm!! Food was cold, the main dish taste was not appetizing, and the amount of food in main dish was not near enough for the price of $14. Quality and quantity sure have gone down there.

The waitress/manager was very rude. They have NO respect with customers. They caused a scene in the restaurant over my order. They refused to service me again because the way I eat my meat because it was an “inconvenience” and were completely disrespectful. The food is alright but i’ll never be eating here again.
