I ordered food online because it says it's open. I drove all the way down here spent $40 on the food itself for it to be closed in person. Why not update the hours? Or better yet close the app down when you know you aren't going to be open. To add it's also 1:37 PM when the website says it closes at 5PM. Smh.

I ordered thru Doordash, so I cant speak for the atmosphere, but the food is fantastic. I got the white meat chicken plate, with candied yams, mac and cheese and cornbread, sweet tea to drink. The food was piping hot, fresh and seasoned well. The servings were very generous, (I would have liked a bigger piece of cornbread 🙂) and the food was packaged well. The tea was a little sweet, but it was without ice, so once I put it in ice, the sweetness leveled out. It was also packaged well, and cold even without the ice.
Absolutely satisfying and I'll definitely be back.

Got them to catered our family dinner,after losing my food was ready for pickup on time and food was great, chicken, cornbread, baked beans, green beans, tea,potato salad and price was great

I couldn't eat my food for a few hours after I bought it. It stayed closed. And the chicken was still super crunchy. I appreciate that.

The food used to be so much better they need to get the original workers back the Mac and cheese is horrible today the chicken is dry and I’m very disappointed the food here used to be so much better… they need to fire everyone and get them old heads back in the kitchen before these workers mess up the restaurants reputation cause nooooo

I really wish I could give them 5 stars bc our company orders from this restaurant ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!! Today just wasn't a good day as tome management is concerned. We placed an order, we're given a pick up time, and had to wait 30 mins past that time. I know things happen, but when it runs over that long, there should be a courtesy call or something bc ppl have to go back to work

Went here today and the service was terrible. The First Lady we seen had an attitude from the moment she seen us. One of their “House Rules” starts by saying that they strive to provide a welcoming environment for all… there was no welcoming employee at all. The lady at the front said it was going to be a couple minutes on the Mac and cheese and asked if we wanted to wait. When I asked how long that is, she said again a couple minutes. Then another employee came out and whispered to some other people that it would be 25 minutes on Mac and cheese. I’m not sure why it was such a secret. We got the fried gizzards and liver. That was really good! Sides were alright. I really wish the employees didn’t hate their job because the customer service here is so very disappointing. Unfortunately will never be able to return here because the taste of the food is not worth being made to feel like an inconvenience.

This place serves the best fried chicken and fried shrimp. I love to pair it with mac n cheese and their baked beans. Definitely my place to go for great soul food!

Quoted 20 min wait after I paid but took an hour. Ordered large gizzards(pictured) white meat waffle (pictured) collared greens (pictured) and chopped turkey sandwich. All pretty good. service was awful thoughcashiers do not want to be there and it shows. Unfortunate because the food was decent but will not be returning.

Waited an 1 hour and a half while I watched the worker whispering to other customers telling them that she was going to go ahead and get them their food. I saw many customers walking out and when I asked about my food I was told that I had to wait. I left as well.
