Grandsons Buffet Hope Mills

We went to Grandson’s tonight for our anniversary. We have liked it in the past but tonight the food was cold and there was a roach 🪳 on the floor, it was laying on its back. Our waitress kept stepping over it. The shrimp taste rubbery we were so disappointed and we won’t be back.

you are in the right place. Fresh food brought out to the buffet often and friendly a staff. It does great crowded on the weekends, so be prepared.

If you’re looking for down home southern style cooking, then this is the place! Everything was really good, last night was my first time there! Food cooked like grandma used to make! Only complaint I can think of was the collards were a little salty, but good! Great place to go when you’re hungry ?

If you are ever in Fayetteville or Hope Mills, Grandsons offers a wide variety of good southern cooking. From pig feet to baked fish and everything else in between. Beans, greens, mac n cheese to blackeyed peas. Cakes and pies complement the excellent customer service we experienced on our first time eating here. We are in town visiting family, and they highly recommended Grandsons.

I expected more, this was a good place for a quick meal but I was not impressed. I actually drove out of the way because I wanted some southern comfort food. Being from the south I felt this was done commercially but it wasn’t hopeful. Don’t need brand new but this place is in need of heavy renovations and not just lipstick on a pig. Everyone was really nice and I felt like I was at a country cookout with friends. Some of the desserts should not have been put out for the public to eat.

I will say something: yes, tables might not match, and chairs could be a little wably, but I eat with the forks and spoons and use the knives. They are clean and food , no doubt that is superb. I recommend the place and is on my favorite save places to get a great southern meal. You can get good taste and enjoyment on the southern style of food. ? enjoy like I did. ?

This place is amazing. The food is cooked to perfection and it is kept freshly replaced constantly. There is an abundance of good food choices and you won't regret that you went there.
