Normally, I don't write reviews. In this case, it was just a matter of principles. The older lady at the bakery was really nonchalant and had a bad attitude when I told her that the cake that I purchased for my son's birthday, which was strawberry and lemon it was Awful ! ! I paid over $60 for this cake. It was for my son's 21st birthday. All I wanted was an acknowledgment in reference to my complaint instead , I got a sarcastic attitude. Word-of-mouth goes a long way and this case I will never refer this bakery again I will go to the bakery on trade Street in Hope Mills.

My parents in California ordered a ton of goodies for me for my birthday back in February from kiss me, Cakes and 1 was delicious. Nothing was beat up or messed up from Transportation. Everything was delicious.

I purchased a slice of the 6 layer yellow cake with fudge icing. The cake itself looks good however I unfortunately assumed that the cake would have been baked from scratch. The cake tasted like a boxed cake mix type, instead of homemade. I am disappointed by taste of the cake simply because I was expecting homemade cake. The next time I decide to try bakery that I am unfamiliar with, I see that I will probably need to look at some the reviews.

The best cupcakes ever! I ordered 25 cupcakes for my son's birthday party at Stop Button in person a week before the event and picked them up right before closing the day of the party! They were so fresh! I was impressed at the customer service and the presentation as well! I will always get my cakes and cupcakes from Kiss Me Cakes!
My auntie rated this bakery a couple of years ago. The cake she ordered was the worst tasting cake ever! Customer service counter person was so rude! The woman at the counter ignored us for a good 5 minutes while she gossiped about another customer.My auntie was disabled and had her cane, but the counter person didn’t seem to care as she berated another customer to others.This bakery was somehow able to get rid of the negative review my aunt left. She has passed away, so I’m posting this for her.The people leaving good reviews are probably friends and family. Avoid this place at all costs. You will be treated better at Walmart and get a probably get a better tasting cake.I noticed in the reviews they don’t like, the owner blames everyone but herself.

I got a cake for my birthday I was looking forward to the cake and the taste of chocolate, well I got neither.A cake baked from scratch you taste the ingredients and has a consistency crumbled fall apart.I’ve baked plenty of cakes myself birthday cakes, cheese cakes, carrots cakes, pineapple upside down cakes, chocolate cake, English sponge cake, Tres leche cake.. many cakes.The cake that was sold to my poor husband from this place was not a good quality cake. The cake I got for my birthday was made from a box cake mix due to the consistency the cake did not hold together it fell apart into crumbs that doesn’t happens to a cake made from scratch it’s moist with a bite to it but doesn’t fall apart into crumbs.I’ve had cakes from some of the best bakeries in the U.S, Lucibello's Italian Pastry Shop, Rocco’s Italian Bakery both in Connecticut, from CIA in NY, from Chicago Michelin Star restaurant ( restaurant that use the highest quality ingredients) believe me when I say the cake was not a cake made from scratch.I was so disappointed and annoyed that they passed the cake as a bakery cake more for my husband who thought he bought a good quality cake Shame on you for fooling people!!Don’t be fooled the cakes are not from scratch not much effort are being put in this place they are not baking bakery cake, which should be from scratch it’s what you are supposed to be paying for a Bakery Baked Cake.

Absolutely love Kiss Me Cakes! Staff is super sweet and helpful, they're quick with answering any questions you might have and their cakes are delicious!! They made us a banana pudding cake for our baby shower and everyone loved it! We will definitely be ordering from them again!

OMG... Their banana pudding!!! My husband has a super sweet tooth and came back from them with cupcakes, red velvet cake slices and some banana pudding. It is all deliccccccccious!!!! I do NOT like slices of banana in my pudding, but the very little slices I had in this were perfect! They were thick slices so they didn't turn mushy and complimented everything perfectly!! My new addiction
It was my intention to only eat half of a cupcake…. Two minutes later, I consumed it all!! Moist, delicious and the customer service is great as well! Will be a continued customer.

I purchased 2 dozen cupcakes from Kiss Me Cakes Bakery for a gift for a group of wonderful people that trained me on how to do in home dialysis for my Mom and the raved about the Banana Pudding Cupcakes! I know they were thrilled about the variety, but definitely enjoyed the Banana Pudding ones. I wish I bought some to taste them! I'll have to visit them again! They don't open until 11:00am, but I'm so glad I went there because they enjoyed the cupcakes!

They made a coconut cake for my mom's 80th birthday and she said it was the best coconut cake she has ever eaten. Her guest thought the same thing. We love their food.!!!!

We got my daughter's birthday cookies from here last year and they were phenomenal. We decided to get cookies and add a smash cake to our order this year. We were sadly disappointed by the quality of the decorations this year. Everything tastes great, it was just the decorations that was very lack luster and the wrong color. The cake was very uneven, just seemed like it was someone's first time decorating.

Probably the softest cake I've ever had!I went in last minute for a cake my daughter's birthday and they fortunately had one full cake left (it was near closing time) and offered to customize it as well. It was the "vanilla crush" flavor and it was amazing! For me, the almond flavor was a little strong so I might get the plain vanilla next time but my husband loved it so that may just be personal taste. The cake was so light and soft and moist, it was perfect!(The sprinkles and toppers were added by me. I'm sure their decorations are much fancier lol)
