We had a great experience, mom, dad, and toddler all left full and happy! We absolutely loved the brisket, cooked to perfection! The pappy sauce was a great addition to the foods. The Mac n cheese was delicious and my little one couldn’t get enough of the baked beans. We will be coming back for more! 😊

We just had dinner there tonight! We had an exceptional meal. We had ribs....that fell off the bone, baked beans, cole slaw and mac and cheese. All were AMAZING! And the desserts.....banana pudding and peach cobbler....YUM!
The staff could not have been nicer. Overall is was a GREAT experience and one that we highly recommend.

Family-owned & operated. This is our absolute favorite place for brisket! Service is outstanding when the owners are in. Owners are the best folks around.
There isn’t anything on the menu you won’t like because it’s all made with love. Homemade Mac n cheese, yum! Hushpuppies, yum! Brisket so good you might pass out! Pappy sauce, divine!!
The down home atmosphere is cozy and comforting and the decor is best described as if your memaw and pepaw collaborated with Cracker Barrel.
If your kids aren’t big BBQ fans, they do have great burgers!
Note: This is not the norm - We had one instance about 2 weeks ago when there was a staff of young adults and the food came out after a very long wait, service was extremely slow and no one even checked on us to see if we were good or offer anything for our long wait or even try to make up for it. They may have been new.
Plenty of parking if you get there early. Not a fan of charging for overflow parking.
A hidden gem tucked away in Hubert. We found this place by getting lost looking for the beach. The ladies were friendly, Susan even walked our food out to us. Thank you ladies. We ordered 2 beef brisket sandwiches. Beef brisket is tender/juicy, it comes on toasted bread with or without cole slaw on the sandwich. Get it with cole slaw on. Trust, it's worth it.
Brisket fries and shrimp burger!!! And that pappys sauce! Went in for the first time and holy moly, what was i waiting for! This place is great. The hospitality was very much appreciated. They answered our questions and steered us in the right direction. Those brisket fries were out of this world! I can’t forget to mention how juicy, tender and delicious the shrimp was. Thank you for a great experience and will be back super soon. Great place!

Brisket was fat and grisly. Slaw was mush and watered down. Service terrible, I asked for a fork and never got one. Over priced and cashier was all of 12 years old.
