My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight. They were so welcoming and sweet! We can’t wait to try more of their menu, when they reopen for the season! Thankful for delicous food, a unique atmosphere, and the best service. They made us feel right at home. 💚 The BBQ was delicious, along with their Mac & cheese, hush puppies, and ohhh the banana pudding!!! Yum!
Huge thanks to the couple we met on Bear Island for recommending Caino's. We went for dinner and enjoyed the food and the laid-back, family style environment. No one left hungry.
My husband ordered a dinner with three types of meat. The Brisket was falling apart tender. He tried all three sauces and enjoyed them all. I had been craving fried okra and it was perfectly fried and salted. The fried shrimp was light and delicious. My kids and dad enjoyed ribs that were also tender and falling off the bone. My mom's steak bites and green beans were delicious too. We also had Mac & Cheese, potato salad, and baked beans, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed! We would absolutely return. My parents plan to soon.

We stopped in for a bite and tried the brisket sandwich and brisket sliders. The brisket was really good - tender and flavorful. Fries were a standout: crispy and well-seasoned. The sides were just okay, nothing special but fine overall.
Definitely not the healthiest meal, but it was a satisfying guilty pleasure. Would go back when we're in the mood for something hearty and casual.

Caino’s has the best brisket around and huge portions! They are also the sweetest people. Definitely try them if you are craving good bbq
We had a great first experience at Caino’s Red Barn Grill. We just happen to see it on Google maps and gave it a try. Very pleasantly surprised with the service, atmosphere, and the food! The staff was all very welcoming and helpful. It was our baby girl’s first time in a high chair out to eat and first time eating french fries - she approved!

Love this place. Great barbecue, brisket, hush puppies, etc. The people who operate the restaurant are great! This is a cozy, down-home place that serves good food. The eclectic decor is fabulous and gives you that feeling of being at your kitchen table. Unique is the best word to describe Cainos .

We ordered the Triple Pig sandwich. The sandwiches were served on butter-grilled thick bread. Our first time in and won’t be our last. The staff were super friendly and the prices were super reasonable. The sandwiches came with big, fat , yummy crinkle fries. I tried the Pappys sauce on the side and it did not disappoint. Not usually a fan of mustard sauce but this one was really tasty. A tangy, sweet mustard sauce. 10/10

After a day on the water and not wanting to cook, nothing beats Caino's A+ brisket! We had them cater the rehearsal dinner for our wedding and people still talk about how delicious the food was. Their staff offers the kind of classic southern hospitality from days of yore, and are so kind and helpful.

We were the only ones in there to get a to go order. The older lady was rude and short with you. We went there thinking it was home cooked foods like all the restaurants in the red barn before Caino's. Anything fried wasnt battered there, it was frozen. You dont smell smokers coming in so not sure where the meats from. I can say being from NC. This isnt BBQ. Not the type NC locals grew up on. The northerners are happy with it from the reviews. I felt like liquid smoke and a regular grill for crust was the cooking style. $25 for a combo of 3 meats and 2 sides. You get 1 rib, 1 slice brisket and a small scoop of chopped dry bbq with 2 sides. And is all floating in grease. I cant describe the potato salad, couldnt eat it. Mac and cheese taste like box with cheese added, wasnt smoked. Baked beans, from a can taste. They were out of banana pudding and we were told they would have some in a few minutes. Good banana puddin takes longer rhan a few minutes. I hate this was such a disappointment. We've tried to get out there for a year.
