My fish was overcooked and very dry. Prices have increased quite a bit from last year and the food quality has gotten worse. Shame. I used to like this place. Won’t go back.

Billfish Grill and Bar was excellent! The seafood was fresh and flavorful, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend the grilled mahi and cocktails. Will definitely be back!

the server had an attitude and the made them pay tip on tax they also had no carbonation in the drinks. all of the seasonings were hard to get out

That was the best peel and eat shrimp I’ve ever had in my life.

Food was dry and bland. Expensive for a terrible meal. Environment was lower end for the prices charged. That wouldn’t bother me so much if food was good… If you wonder why no locals and only tourists… now you know. The wait staff was friendly and pleasant. Worst $200. Ever spent - for 3 people with one meal removed due to being inedible. Don’t waste your money.

I love to give good feedback where it’s most deserved and my experience at Billfish was spectacular. We were served by a younger gentlemen named Brandt who provided us with the upmost customer service then followed by the amazing food. Going back frequently!

Great restaurant, service is great, staff is kind, and on top of that my server Brandt helped my grandma walk to the car!!!

First to will start off Yelp is 3.2 for stars and if I would’ve saw that I would not have came. Google shows this place 4.3 and it is far from. This experience was too poor to ignore. From start to finish, this dinner was a disaster. Our reservation was messed up from the start made it online showed up and said it was not confirmed. I showed a screenshot and hostess said well if you can wait I can seat you. Took 25mins after the time to seat. And to just push two tables together that were already empty.
We waited an hour and forty minutes for our food, and during that time, we barely saw our server. Which can be understandable, maybe, if the place was packed, but they only had two waitresses downstairs and possibly one upstairs. The service was overwhelmed and it showed.
The paper menu which is only front and back was misleading. Halfway through waiting for our food, we were told certain dishes either didn’t come with the listed sides (specifically the steak) or you could choose a side and then our waitress would comeback later and said the side wasn’t even offered at all. That’s unacceptable.
Our appetizers came timely but, we weren’t even given plate so we all had to take turns getting a bite. When the food finally came, it was a massive disappointment. One example is the $45 ravioli dish had five ravioli. Yes, five. The portions across the board were shockingly small. The collard greens were $9 for what looked like a dish the size of a yogurt cup.
Now our drinks? We only saw a refill twice in the entire two hours. To top it off, the food wasn’t even good. The seafood was rubbery and bland. The sides were cold. For the prices they’re charging, this place should be delivering fine dining, but instead what we got was a frustrating, overpriced mess.
The atmosphere seemed nice but, the restrooms were small and not up to par for feeling clean. Pictures online are misleading I would not return and cannot recommend this to anyone

Tonight we had a poor experience. Our waitress was nice, but the food took far too long to get to our table. Especially considering there were only ever 4 tables in use in the dining room at any given time. There was a table of 12 upstairs but I personally saw at least 3 people expediting food upstairs so they were well covered, 1 male and 2 female wait staff.

Next our waitress, although attentive, miscommunicated the number of sides that came with my father’s meal, told him he could also have a potato, then told him his meal only came with one side. Simple mistake, but disappointing when you’re paying $55 for a steak, and had to wait for as long as we did. Then my brother got 5 lobster ravioli's in sauce for $44….not embellishing…yeah 5 ravioli, which no doubt tasted good, but were a very far and away ask for their very large price point.

My Brother in law hated the shrimp butter thing unfortunately. He got so mad he didn’t want to talk at dinner, so this was disappointing.

Every single plate that hit our table of 8 people came one….at….a….time…..after an hour and a half of waiting, and watching 2 other tables get their food when they came in at least 15 minutes after we ORDERED.

I just don’t understand, if you ask for a premium price you’d better have premium service, and tonight it was slow, poorly communicated, nothing was fixed on our bill even though the waitress said she’d talk to a manager who never came…..so for a $463 dollar bill for 8 people and an automatically applied $72 tip included in that amount….how absolutely ridiculous and honestly insulting, that you believe you can charge what you do for this horribly long and poorly managed service. I felt bad for my dad having to foot the bill for this place. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or any other tourists that I meet. Go somewhere you can take your kids and family that gives value and that you leave happy and full, with enough cash to actually do something on the island, this place is not worth 4.1 stars at the time of writing this, the only reason I’m not giving it a 1 is because I enjoyed my Snow Crab legs, and I liked that the waitress was always kind to me, despite the dumpster fire that was that service overall.

Made online reservations for Tuesday, 11/19/2024. They even sent a confirmation text to assure we were coming. We drove from 30 minutes away for all u can eat crabs. We got there at time of reservation and business was closed without a sign or anything. Call before you go.

This place was awesome, just a great vibe through and through. Fish tacos might be the best in town but they have so many options. The apps we got were wicked good. The service was great as well. If you’re looking for great seafood and an awesome vibe this is the place.

Wish I could give more stars! The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was incredibly attentive. I tried the Billfish Sampler and Tacos—both were fresh and delicious! I take caution when ordering seafood from most restaraunts but the sampler was packed with flavor. It was a perfect way to get a taste of the menu. The tacos were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and an absolute must-try. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a place to unwind with friends, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
