Went by but didn't stay because bars aren't really my thing. I was just compromising because my family member wanted to go to a lounge or bar. I just wanted to get something to eat. They don't have food there. So we left to find a place where we could bother be satisfied. But if you like bars with live entertainment, the deck may be for you.

I would not recommend the deck since they have hired this guy that refuses to give out his name, EVEN to the cops. he is a ginger and has a brand new tattoo on his forearm that says “walker.” I had met this guy a week ago, and he had told us his life story; He had told me that he had been to jail for “touching” his daughter inappropriately, told me a story of him almost killing a guy but the cops had stopped him, had MULTIPLE run ins with the police and had been to jail multiple times.…… even told me that he told the cops that he would kill a man, in jail, if they put someone in the same cell as him with the same background…. and that’s not everything that he told me and my friends that night. he had some absolutely crazy story’s he had told me and my friends just last weekend.
last night, me and a couple friends had went to the deck and this dude is checking us in. he wanted to charge us all $5 to get in when we all had memberships but two who already had their money out and ready for the cost of the membership. I showed the guy the flyer that had been posted just a few hours before, at the bottom of the page, it says that members got in free. and that my parents had just gotten there (also has memberships) and got in there for free. he immediately flipped a switch, his faced turned into the devil and immediately bucked up and started getting in my boyfriends face threatening to hit him. my boyfriend then proceeded to give him money and said dude it’s not the serious, here’s the money for us all to get in. then this ginger guy then threw the money back at us and told us that we were banned for life, and called the cops. please please never give this ginger idiot any of your money. he is most definitely probably pocketing your money!!!!! me and my parents have been going to the deck for years and i have never met anyone who has worked there that has been so hot headed and so rude. this ginger dude over stepped by disrespecting my mom (by literally throwing his hands in her face and screaming at us and threatening to hit us all.) the deck has went down hill completely since they hired this perverted man, since there is A LOT of HPU students attending the deck; PLEASE BE CAREFUL and if the flyer says “members are FREE” please don’t give them their money especially if the owner is not present- the cops literally told us that they were not allowed to do that and that they knew this dude was fishy (probably has a warrant out for his arrest) because he refused to give them his name. the cops wanted to talk to the owner (wade) but unfortunately he was not there, so they talked to a few bartenders, all of them told them they they loved us as costumers and that they had no idea what this ginger guy was doing.
I will be in contact with wade in the morning to make sure this is handled correctly. no one should feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of while we are just trying to have a good night. even the bartenders felt like this dude was doing very fishy things last night and told my mother that they wished the owner was there to handle it.
no one will ever see me or anyone i know back at the deck until this guy with his nasty and disgusting behavior is fired. not sure how he even got the job with his background but someone needs to stand up for all members of the deck (we saw multiple members leave last night due to the flyer saying one thing and theses two guys, checking everyone in, says another) if the flyer says members are free then that should be honored, especially if we are waiting in line for over 30 minutes. this dude shouldn’t be allowed to pop off and act insane at the first comment someone makes about the price being not correct. the way he looked at us all (girls included) looked like he was ready to hit us all. not right at all. i have never met anyone who has worked at the deck who wasn’t kind and so sweet, until this guy. whoever hired him, made a huge mistake. maybe run a background check before you hire just anyone to protect members of the deck…

The atmosphere is very nice, there are several different seating areas, it's nice and open, there are indoor areas as well! We spent the majority of the night outside listening to the live band "Stereo Doll" who always puts on an excellent performance! The coverage charge is affordable as well as the membership! The bar tenders were all on their game, the drink price is about average cost. This is definitely a place that we will go back to! The bathroom was a little on the small side but there are porter pottys outside behind the stage. If you've never been, I highly recommend that you check this place out!
