Pintos were mush. Slaw had a weird flavor. I even poured sugar on it, but it didn't help it. Took a very long time to get our food. And, my husband's fries were cold.

The food was OK but it took over an hour to get our order. We should have got up and left. Restaurant should have not opened on this day.

Previously they had good food but last night and today was not the same experience. Parents ate there last night and took over an hour to get food with waitress with bad attitude. They didn’t say a thing about it when I came to town and ask to eat there.
We waited for 54 minutes for hamburgers and chips but when they came they were barely warm. I tried to not say anything until they told me their food was the same. They didn’t want theirs cooked again and just chose to not eat it. I wanted mine cooked again because I was hungry. Waited another 15mins for the waitress to bring out more chips, not my burger. Don’t know how that happened. That waitress (older short hair with ball cap) was extremely nice about the mistake. I told them to forget the burger I would just eat the one I had to make due to we had already been there 1.5 hours.
The. it turned into a really bad experience as the blonde older waitress was huffing, puffing, making faces, etc…. I explained to her that she didn’t need to treat the customer that way because it wasn’t our fault they didn’t have a cook. She let me know it wasn’t her fault either (which I understand). I told her that I understood that but she still need to respect that we were the client. It only got worse from there. I had all intentions of still leaving a tip because it wasn’t her fault but her smart…. Mouth and not just saying I understand made me decide to not give her a penny. There is no reason to argue with a customer especially when you know your restaurant/cook is the issue. .

Not really complainers as we've had a good meal before and were happy to go back but won't be again. It seemed like the whole side room was ignored. Maybe go early and sit in the main are where the action is with the TVs? Ordered an app which came out quick and was great but then ... a salad and boneless wings never came after nearly an hour. We did leave cash to cover it and scooted off for fast food. We're locals and want to support local sit down places. :(

Cruisers is a classic style dinner esc restaurant, with a simple menu. They offer burgers wings and classic dinner style lunch you’d expect. They offer quite a few appetizers that are sure to make anyone happy.
They also have an item you wouldn’t expect especially in Ashe county. They have a Shrimp Po Boy sandwich and it by far is one of the best around. With a boom boom sauce sure to knock your socks off this sandwich is sure to make anyone who’s a fan of them happy. The service was pretty decent however felt somewhat rushed. Food came out almost instantly and we barely had time to try our appetizer. I was joined by my friend for lunch and she ordered cowboy beans, shrimp, sweet potato fries and a drink. She was not a huge fan of the sweet potato fries or the cow boy beans. Overall however we had a quiet bite and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Po boy was. It’s hard to find one around here even into Boone. So this was not only a great meal but a welcome surprise

We used this catering while stationed in the area on military duty during hurricane Helene relief. Allen, owner, is absolutely fantastic and his food is top tier! We got a variety of meals over the course of several weeks that always included salad and dessert. Highly recommend!!

Took family to eat lunch, not busy at all when we got there. 1 person at bar and 1 table with a couple there. We ordered got our drinks half our appetizers, sat for 45 mins after drinks were served before I asked when to expect food. By the time we got food place was packed and fries cold, wings warm at best an Phillys were just warm enough still for cheese to be soft. The grilled cheese was the only thing serving hot.
