So glad we stopped at this great little place. My husband and I both got the meatloaf special which was very good and was a nice portion. I asked if the mashed potatoes were real potatoes. Our very sweet waitress said she wouldn't lie that they were not; but she said she didn't like instant potatoes either, but she liked the ones they serve. She offered that if we didn't like them, she would bring us a different side. Well we didn't need another side because they actually were good. I got the slaw also which I enjoyed and my husband got corn nuggets that had pieces of corn in them instead of being all bread. We can't wait to go back and try other meals.

Really good country cooking! Their breakfast is great, and lunch is a daily special with two sides of country cooked veggies. Your tongue will be beatin' your brains out trying to get to it. Get on over to Jerry's Cafe on Swan Creek Rd., Hamptonville. You won't be disappointed!

Jerry’s is one of my favorite local places to eat! It is a family atmosphere where it seems like everyone knows each other. The food is great for a fair cost and the people are so friendly. We stopped by on the way from Raleigh- Durham to the mountains. The folks here are the friendliest that you will meet anywhere! The hot dog chili is homemade and worth the trip alone. We will be back and if you haven't tried Jerry's you are missing out.
