We eat here whenever we're in the area. Not just because it is close to the house, but it is truly good food. The service is always kind and attentive, even if you're not from around the area. You'll notice that this is a place for the locals, as there is a men's group that eats there at breakfast time, and everybody knows everybody. The interior is casual with all chair seating- no booths. The bathrooms are on the backside of the building - you go through an enclosed hallway with windows viewing the exterior to get there. Don't expect fancy here, but do expect a quality meal at a good price.

We stopped by on the way from Raleigh- Durham to the mountains. The folks here are the friendliest that you will meet anywhere! The hot dog chili is homemade and worth the trip alone. We will be back and if you haven't tried Jerry's you are missing out.

Always have good food at great prices. The service is there is amazing. Very good mom and pop type of place. Every time I am in that area I try my best to get over to the restaurant. I send all my friends and family there as well
