Wonderful, relaxing, fun place to visit. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Ice cream wonderful! Tried triple chocolate, coffee, black cherry, and peanut butter. This was our first visit, but it is safe to say that it won't be the last! Loved having so many different flavors to choose from. ? See you all next time!

I called today to ask a couple questions about their hours and what they offer during the winter time. The man who answered was very rude and had a mean and short tone with me. He cut me off in the middle of my first question. I didn't even get to my second question because I didn't feel comfortable asking after being shut off so quickly. I was very excited to bring my 1st grade class here to visit for the first time but that will not be happening anymore.

TLDR: Yum! Creamy, rich ice cream with excellent flavors like creamsicle and blueberry danish. Plus they are family owned and promote sustainability! Homeland creamery is a family owned creamery in Julian, NC (southeast of Greensboro). Visit the farm store to purchase various products made in the creamery, including milk, heavy cream, and ice cream. If you want to learn more, schedule a farm tour for $10/person+tax. The farm tour includes a hayride, dairy farm education, and ice cream samples. Alternatively, you can purchase their products from various locations in NC. Their website lists the locations organized by city. Most recently, I purchased several scoops from Scoop Dogz. There was an added charge per scoop so I am assuming the ice cream is likely cheaper if purchased directly from the creamery, which is reasonable. Overall, we enjoyed the ice cream and recommend this creamery to others!
