First time at Grounds & Vine. Greeted warmly when we walked in. Stopped for lunch, my husband had a glass of wine & I had a peppermint mocha coffee (I was freezing that day). My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich and a bowl of butternut squash soup. I ordered the Ham & Swiss with a bowl of the same soup. Everything was so delicious! My ham sandwich had a spicy mustard made in house by the owner, Rich. It has attitude -the mustard not Rich- and I loved it. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the food. Rich pulled up a chair and chatted with us a bit-so friendly. We'll definitely go back!

Not impressed. This was our first visit. I ordered a Coke that was totally flat. I then asked for an orange juice. I don’t know what it was. It was either orange juice that was very diluted or maybe an orange pineapple mixture. I don’t know, but it wasn’t good. Someone apparently forgot to make the tater tots we ordered and I asked that they cancel it, but they brought it anyway. The server forgot to bring water that was asked for. It’s a shame because the food was actually quite tasty, but I don’t really want to come back due to the service.

Great food. Everything we tried was fantastic. The bruschetta was phenomenal and a great start to the meal. The Ruben was well done and a great combination of flavors. The loaded tots were full of flavor as well. My fiancé had the lobster mac and cheese and it was delicious. I will say that the service was a little on the slow side for refilling waters as we sat with empty glasses for some time. Would I go back again….absolutely. Almost forgot. I did have the bourbon pecan latte and it rocked. Would highly recommend reservations after being there. It is small and justifiably very busy

Came to Charlotte for a race. Visited Randy Lajoye's shop to drop off the trailer, and say hi. Right around the corner, is this place. The place is very homie, with a fireplace and coffee counter. The Cuban sandwich was perfect. The roast pork on that sandwich was just amazing. The tots with the pimento cheese was so good, I kept eating them after I was stuffed. If you end up in this area, this place is a must stop spot.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! From the time I walked in until the time I walked out I was so dissapointed in the lack of humanity ! The ladies working there would not even look up to greet whomever walked in . The food was far from what expected ! So disgusted ! Will not be returning and will share my experience in the community. Very sad that this is a locally owned business with such poor customer service .Lets do better guys!!!!!!
