Chophouse 101 is a restaurant that accommodates large groups efficiently, even if seating isn't together. It has received mixed reviews for service, but one waitress named Wendy stood out positively, managing multiple tables effectively. While some guests felt the food needed better seasoning, many have praised the atmosphere and delicious dishes like the steak, with recent visits highlighting well-cooked porterhouse steak and ribeye. The French fries received a perfect rating, while ahi tuna appetizers were noted as bland. Some diners mentioned that service could be improved, particularly in clearing dishes and attentiveness. The restaurant can get busy, especially on Friday nights, so reservations are recommended. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere and good food, making it a popular choice for lunch, dinner, and special occasions. The bread and cinnamon butter received high praise, described as the best ever. The dining experience is pleasant with room for minor improvements, though some dishes like chicken parm and mashed potatoes may not meet everyone's expectations. The penne pasta with shrimp was fresh, but the cream sauce lacked flavor. The T-bone and ribeye steaks are considered average and thinner than those at other steakhouses in the area. Many guests have enjoyed meals like the filet and chophouse bowl with salmon, and the wine selection has also been praised. Overall, service is good, and the size of the restaurant helps guests feel comfortable. The prices are reasonable, with a meal for two with drinks and a shared appetizer typically around $120 including tip. Chophouse 101 is definitely worth checking out for a great dinner spot in the area.
