One sandwich had product left off, ordered coffee and w it came it was black and I asked for cream and was told sorry they didn't have cream. No refills on Drinks, machine were turned off. Could only pay with credit no place to pay cash. Saw 2 others come go because of credit only no cash. All this then we have to do all the work from placing orders, pick up order and dump trash. Too many better places to eat and get r eat service.

There is nothing like a good old juicy garlic burger from steak ‘n Shake. I don’t get them often but when I do the only one that I will eat the whole sandwich and if you ask anybody, I can eat, but I can’t finish the whole burger I can finish the whole burger and fries with this.

Very disappointed. My daughter and I drove to the drive-thru we were ignored at 11:30 only for one of the employees to sneak out the back and cut off the drive-thru sign. Do better. It's 2025

Went in drive thru on 1-6-2025 around 7pm ordered a kids hotdog meal and 2 cheese fries. Well got home my cheese fries had chill on both so I called and called all night no one answered. Went back on 1-7-2025 for dine in told an associate about the food being wrong she informed me their phone don’t work and ask the manager if there is anything they can do to compensate me and she said no since I didn’t have a receipt.. Like why would I lie about these fries having chilli beans on it and I’ve been coming here from 5-6 times a week.. poor management…get a phone at location

The bathrooms were unclean but not terrible, the kiosk in the front is very disheartening. It says the company doesn't want to pay employees to work or doesn't value good customer service. The food was ok, the bacon double steak burger with tomato lettuce and grilled onions with fries and cheese sauce, is what i ordered. My daughter had the kids grilled cheese with fries and a fountain drink. The grilled cheese was awesome although my toddler enjoyed my fries more than hers. I also ordered a Reese milk shake with my order, it wasn't as good as I hoped. The sandwich fell apart and was super moist from the wet toppings. The bun was super thin but as a whole the sandwich was a 2.5/5. The fries were the best part of the meal. The seats, the window sill, the floor, looked as if it hadn't been washed all week. The area the restaurant was in had ample parking and liked that they had seats outside as well. There weren't any booster seats or high chairs visible for use.
Not the same place that I grew up with, no wait staff while the price has doubled and the value part of the menu has shrank to be all but nonexistent, I am focused on not going to these places that tend to put their franchise owners in front of the ones who pay the bills for them...shame on them, the food is still good but that is not enough for me to go back...

I am very displeased with the new automated system. They have no waitresses, the fact that I can't even get a drink without using a QR code makes me sick. This franchise is going down the toilet.. I grew up on Steak n Shake and now it has became a joke.
